G & H High School celebrated Grand Parents Day with great pomp and show on 4th November,2023.

Large number of grand parents and even parents turned up to watch the colourful programme of their grand kids. From Baby Nursery to Std V children presented beautiful dances on the heart touching hindi movie songs showing their love ,respect and gratitude towards their grand parents which brought tears in their eyes . At the outset grand parents were welcomed in our Bhartiya tradition by doing tilak on their forehead by the juniors . A few games also were planned for the enjoyment of grand parents . Director, Academics Mrs Panigrahi blessed the children and appreciated the cooperation of parents in all school activities . Mr.B K Singh ,Advisor welcomed the grand parents as friend , philosopher and guide of their grand children .How lucky are those kids who get the company of their grand parents in their growing up days to become an all-round and balanced personalities in later life .

The Programme was appreciated by all and many thanked the School for giving opportunity and providing a platform to showcase and sharpen children ' s inherent talent .👰🧑‍🚒👷👮🧑‍⚕️🧑‍🦰🤷

Whereas in XII Commerce Shruti Jain topped with 88.6% followed by
Avantika Ojha 84.2%
and Musharraf Hawari with 83.4 %.

G& H High School celebrated Earth day on the occasion of World Earth Day on 22 nd April for creating awareness among young children to protect our mother Earth from pollution and deforestation.

Many fun activities like fancy dress ,painting competition and quiz on environment were conducted for junior to senior classes.Primary and Nursery kids wore everything in green,,brought green tiffin cooked with green veges and leafs and took pledge to keep the Earth clean and green.💚

We celebrated 74 th Republic Day of our motherland in G&H High School with lot of patriotic fervour. Programme started with unfurling of Tri Colour at 9 a.m followed by a short but colourful cultural programme by the students depicting valour, patriotism sacrifice and unity in diversity of our great nation. It was highly appreciated and applauded by the parents. Republic Day 2023 will remain a memorable day forever.🇮🇳

G&H High School celebrated Parakram Divas on 23 rd Jan 2023 to mark 126 th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose who was a great nationalist, brave freedom fighter and a dynamic leader of Indian National Congress.His famous words 'Give me blood , I will give you freedom' and ' Patriotism is not only a matter of words ,but of deeds' are still etched in the hearts of Indians .

Our students from different classes celebrated Netaji Jayanti by participating in various activities like dance ,speech and poster making which depicted Netaji's bravery ,patriotism and states man ship and pledged to follow his footsteps in life for nation building .

In view of the post COVID morbidity and fatalities, G&H High School organized a free health camp in the school premises in collaboration with Pulse Super Speciality hospital doctors who did ECG,for senior boys and parents , hemoglobin test for teen age girl students and dietary consultation for nursery and primary students for ensuring their proper physical growth and well being .

The School Management ,teaching faculty and the students whole heartedly thank Pulse hospital management as well as the energetic and enthusiastic doctors,nurses and the camp organizers for their relentless work of checking, advising and prescribing for hundreds of students and parents for hours . So it is correctly said that GOD GIVES LIFE BUT DOCTORS SAVE LIFE..❤️🙏

Dainik Jagaran media house organized a talk show on Road Safety for our school students on 28/11/22 as a part of its Road Safety Campaign in Jharkhand in order to spread awareness among the youth about traffic rules as these are basic life skills which every road user be he or she ,a pedestrian, a cyclist ,a bike rider or a motor vehicle driver must know for safety of himself and of others .

We are very much thankful to Mr Jamal and Mr .Gaurav, road safety officers of the district for addressing the senior class students and even clearing some of their doubts regarding traffic rules.

We are also immensely thankful to Dainik Jagaran group for being a responsible media and trying to improve community awareness on such important issues..

Quiz ,Sit and draw ,Eye check up ,Sports of Nursery and Primary section ,friendly volley ball match between teachers and XII std students were the highlights of the day .
Endless fun ,no tension of studies only Masti ki pathshala .

School Management and all the teachers wish them the best of everything on this special day surrounded by smiles and happiness always .❤️

G&H High school nursery kids celebrated Krishna Janmastami with lot of enthusiasm.on 18.8.22 by presenting one act plays ,fancy dress and dance in the school premises. Children were given the message of Lord Krishna who is the embodiment of love,peace and compassion that we have the duty to work but no right to the fruits of the work .We should never engage in action for the sake of reward .

Glimpses from Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav as celebrated by the students and teachers of G & H High School on 15.8.22.

G&H High School celebrated Happy Earth Day on 22/4/22 in order to make the students aware about environmental issues and help to sustain a rich eco system in our planet to keep it green and clean.

On the auspicious morning of 26th Jan, our school celebrated Republic Day in the school premises. It was the matter of great pride for all of us. Needless to say, the whole school had worn the appearance of a beautiful bride.
The principal, teachers and the students didn't want to leave any stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one. Vice-principal Mr Wjay Srivastava unfurled the national flag . After this teachers presented cultural items. These cultural items included patriotic songs and speeches.All the students joined for the celebration through zoom. Despite weather, being inclement, we enjoyed Republic Day with great enthusiasm.

Vaccination Drive against Covid-19 held at G&H High School, Ranchi

Vaccination drive for the Students in the age group of 15-18 years was held at G&H High School, Getalatu, Ranchi in view of the Pandemic.
"Vaccination is the sole protection we have right now against the pandemic and it is extremely important for everyone to come up and get themselves inoculated"

Galileo had once said 'Nature is written in a mathematical language'. Everything around us is mathematics. Math is one of the basic sciences of life and without maths nothing is possible.

Therefore to develop liking for maths subject and most importantly to commemorate the birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar, the greatest mathematician of our country, National Mathematics Day was observed in G& H High School by conducting an inter-house maths quiz for 6 to 11 class students.
Both participants and viewers showed lot of enthusiasm in the quiz session. Maths teachers of the school contributed in organizing the programme successfully.

On this occasion School Management wishes Mary Christmas 2021 to one and all and pray God Almighty to multiply all your joys and get all your sorrows subtracted from life. Best Wishes. 👍
