National Nutition Month 2020

National Nutrition Week is used to celebrate for making the people to know about proper Health by eating proper Nutrition Foods and to get them the Importance of the Nutrition to their Body. It is very easy for people to maintain their bodies, but it is very difficult for people to decrease or increase their Body when they have high weight or low weight. It is very important to recommend the Doctors to get a proper treatment to increase or decrease their Body for making their Body as per their well Body requirement.

Nutrition is the science of foods,the nutrients and other substances therein their action, interaction and balance in relationship to health and disease; the processes by which the organism ingests,digests,absorbs,transports and utilises nutrients and disposes of their end products.
Nutrition is also concerned with social, economic, cultural and psychological implications of food and eating.

In this year, The Govt. of India have issued guidelines for celebrating the Theme of "POSHAN MAAH 2020" from 1st sept 2020 onwards with all the precautionary guidelines in view of current nCOVID-19 situation.

There are two major activities for the POSHAN MAAH are:
1) Identification and tracking of children with severe acute malnutrition(SAM).
2) Plantation drive for promotion of kitchen garden under "POSHAN KE LIYE PAUDHE".

Custard apple flowering season begins in the months of April or May and the fruits start appearing between August and November.

1. Custard apple contains over 30% of the RDI for vitamin B6, a nutrient that regulates mood and may help prevent depression.
2. It provides lutein, which may promote eye health.
3. Custard apple contains magnesium and potassium, two nutrients that support healthy blood pressure levels.
4. One cup (160 grams) of cherimoya offers almost 5 grams of dietary fiber, which is over 17% of the RDI.
5. Custard apple contains multiple anti-inflammatory compounds, such as kaurenoic acid, catechin, and epicatechin. Decreasing your levels of chronic inflammation may reduce disease risk.
