On 16th October i.e. World Hunger Day,
PEHEL organised a
Community Feeding Program near Medical more where we were able to feed 1200 people. This wouldn't have been possible without your support ❤

This raging pandemic had separated us from our beloved students but alas, with our volunteers vaccinated and all appropriate social distancing measures in place, we are elated to announce that we have resumed our classes with full swing!

We are proud to announce that we successfully completed a menstrual health drive wherein we distributed 2400 Sanitary napkins to more than 200 women in the Chota Fafri area of Siliguri.
The drive was handled by Ketaki Agarwal - A Core member of Team Pehel in the presence of the whole core committee and 15 enthusiastic volunteers.
We aim to continue this work and look forward to our second drive.

Change is the only constant!
Very much a cliche but relevant, nevertheless. While Pehel has now shifted it's module for the time being amidst the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we know that it would not have been an immediate success if it was not for the initial efforts of those who allowed us to stand and grow.

Countless people have helped us sustain this project through contributions; big and small but we would like to take some time and thank the people who gave us the most valuable thing we could have asked for, their time.

Feel proud of yourselves because not only have you given priceless knowledge to many but also helped an organization to stand, which aims to give back to the society, a step at a time.

A sincere note of thanks to all of you yet again and we hope that we meet again soon, with a duster on one hand and a marker on the other.
