Today's(19.07.24) meeting with DM, Alipurduar and the tourism stake holder's of Alipurduar. EHTTOA highlights the following issues : A) To create Alipurduar District as a 4 to 5 nights destination you need to clubbed the destinations like Jaldapara, Chilapata, Rajabhatkhawa along with Buxa and Jayanti. B) Recent developments on displacements of Jayanti Tourism will put adverse effects on Alipurduar tourism circuits C) Jaigaon Tour Operators under EHTTOA platform are facing problems like highhandedness of SSB while the guests are returning via Phuentsholing. Requested DM madam to open a Tourism Information center in Jaigaon. Joint Director Tourism, North Bengal has asked to send a separate proposal in this regards. D) Prospect of Adventure Tourism especially on Trekking and Motor Sports E) A seperate meeting will be organized with DM Madam and ADM Tourism with the road maps for Alipurduar tourism shortly by EHTTOA.
