At Retina Institute of Bengal, led by the expertise of Dr. Somnath Chakroborty, a distinguished retina surgeon, we're at the forefront of battling ROP.

As we dive into the 2nd phase of our ROP SCREENING project in North Bengal's SNCUs, the urgency is palpable. Untreated, ROP robs our youngest of their sight. Our latest efforts unveiled a sobering reality: 40 babies examined, with 1 needing urgent treatment under the Swasthya Saathi scheme.

Yet, we're not backing down. With your steadfast support, we're forging ahead, pioneering a telemedicine-based ROP screening program to cover ALL 8 DISTRICTS of North Bengal.
