A job fair for the students of GPW Sirsa and the students of the nearby institute was organised on 7/4/23 at the campus of Government Polytechnic for Women Sirsa.
Different Companies like VVDN Technology, Yokohama, Vikas Group, MircoMan Turner and Hero Moto corp visited the campus for recruitment of candidates.
More than 100 students participated in this event.
The event provided a chance to students to showcase their talent and get selection from their campus.
The representatives from the companies appreciated the talent of students and also facilities provided by this institute for academics.

Today on 21/4/22 PTM was organised in the institute. On this occasion parents of different students visited the institute and got the details about performance of their ward in the classes . The parents were informed about results of their ward in the HSBTE exams, their attendance record as well as their performance in the Sessional exams. The parents were very satisfied with the efforts of the department in the overall development of the student and they also appreciated the initiative taken by the institute to conduct this event.

Today the results of semester exams were declared by HSBTE Panchkula.
The students of Computer Engineering Department performed well in the exams.

The Parents Teacher Meet(PTM) for the students of Ist year, IInd Year and Final year conducted during the lockdown through the Zoom Meeting on 29/4/2020 and 30/4/2020 by the Computer Engg deptt of this institute. The parents of max students attended the meeting and gave their feedback about the online classes during lockdown. Max parents were satisfied with the ongoing classes. Some parents of final year students were worried about the future of their wards as this being their last year in the institute and some of them were interested in taking admissions in BTech and some students were worried about their placements. The parents were ensured that the admissions process of the lateral entry into BTech classes will be started by the state Govt after the lockdown is over so they need not to worry about that. Regarding the placements, the students were ensured that the institute is in contact with different industries and the recruitment process will be started again after the lockdown is over.
During the PTM the parents of few students pointed out that the students have left their books in the hostel as they were not aware about so long lockdown period, they were guided that the study material is uploaded at the institute website and also at the “Jan sahayak” App of the Haryana Govt. so they can avail the material from there also. The staff also ensured them that if besides these if they need notes or help in their previous Reappear then they can contact the concerned teacher for the help in that subject.
The parents appreciated the initiative taken by the department to connect with the parents during this time and cleared their doubts and worries about their wards.
