Shahijahaan Ahmad dar demands compensation for Hailstorm victims. DDC Zaingair on Thursday expressed grave concern over the damage caused to standing orchard crops by hailstorm in the Zaingeer Block of District Baramulla. In a statement issued here, Shahijahaan Ahmad dar demanded comprehensive compensation for orchardists and farmers who have suffered heavy losses due to hailstorm today. Dar urged UT government to immediately to assess the damage to the fruits and crops and provide immediate compensation to the affected families.

The meeting reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental works and the implementation of employment and other schemes. During the meeting, DDC Members raised several issues regarding PDD, PHE, Forest, and education. The chairman directed the concerned to redress the issues. She also visits Baba Shakur-ur- din wali (RA) shrine with her members and officers.
