SUBJECT.......The challenges confronting some govt hospitals in Srinagar...

With the increased demand of patient services, the increased no of chronic diseases and growing needs of the intensive care of patients, the Govt hospitals Srinagar are being continuously provided with the latest and the greatest methods to improve patient - centered care ; however, there are some govt hospitals here, which are not able to provide satisfactory care that patients deserve..

The scarcity of machines and apparatus in many govt hospitals in Srinagar adds to people 's woes here.There is a great lack of X-ray , USG, MRI and ICU beds and much more basic facilities, which compels the patients to rush to private hospitals, leaving the financially weak patients with no option but to wait for long hours at other govt overburdened hospitals of other district hospitals.

This delay in diagnosis and treatment , unfortunately causing immense suffering for patients and sometimes has proven to be fatal for many .

Besides these severe shortage of basic facilities in govt hospitals here , with the prevalence of increased no of chronic diseases, Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries in some hospitals in Srinagar struggle to access services leaving the patients on the verge of death almost, however, the hospitals administration sometimes pay no heed to avail the beneficiaries any deserved service and sometimes making it difficult for patients to take advantage of those Ayushman cards and the administration always claims that all is well .

Actually, the biggest problem with these hospitals is that there is a least monitoring system which adds to a lower quality of patient care and zero focus on patient satisfaction..

Therefore, the Govt is being highly urged to prioritize this matter and actively pursue solution at the highest level and ensure that patients will be provided specialized medical services and advanced technology should be provided in all govt hospitals so that financially weak patients feel no need to go to any private healthcare system.

SUBJECT....Amid cold wave power curtailment woes in Kashmir....

The schedule as decided by KPDCL last month,that there will be four and a half hours power curtailment in metered areas and non - metered areas will face eight hours of power cuts.

However the valley is facing heavy curtailments only with least power supply , which has adversely affected the domestic households and traders .

This year the Kashmir is facing one of the worst power crises amid this chilling cold wave with the start of autumn..

The crores of rupees are being paid by consumers but when it comes to provide regular power supply, the administration fails to take responsibility of regular supply of electricity.

The current power scenario in Kashmir is almost worst in all the regions , which receive only few hours daily supply in intervals that lasts from a few minutes to a couple of hours.

The power shortage has also impacted patient care of thousands of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other home - bound patients who entirely rely on oxygen concentrators and nebulizers

Further ,long hours power curtailment in Kashmir valley with peak demand rising due to chilling cold leading people to rely on heating gadgets and other power appliances without those the survival of life is almost impossible

The Govt is therefore highly urged to improve the power supply at earliest.

The govt should take steps to annonuce winter break as immediate as it can .

It has become hard for adults to step out of homes in morning as valley remains clouded by dense fog , then how can it be possible for children to reach schools amid this dense fog.

Primary level students and Kindergartens face the most tough time and numerous challenges.

Parents feel worrisome for their children as minus temperature is having a adverse affect on health of their littlest ones.

Therefore, for the sake of children 's health, the govt is being highly urged to announce the winter vacations as early as possible......

Subject: Difficult to breathe and live due to foul smell envelops many areas of Srinagar surrounding Eidgah Achen.

Sir

Already people in Srinagar face health hazards due to rising pollution levels , now day and night residents of many areas residing near Eidgah Achen Sangam as Soura Nowshahra , Zonimar etc suffer a lot due to filthy smell of dirt and dump of the same area

The people of such areas can't even keep the windows open amid rising temperature levels. On most nights , due to strong filthy smell the residents find it very hard to breathe and sleep afterward , as a result experience sleepless nights almost daily.

Sometimes, the smell becomes so strong , and the moment, parents feel so frightening and the only thought that comes to their minds is where do they stay to save their children from this polluted air.At least, everyone has the right to breathe fresh air.
Everyday, it feels like a drainage pipe has been left open somewhere .This foul smell, sometimes continues for hours .

The worst part of this matter is the, the two major hospitals are in close connection with the same polluted area , makes it very difficult for asthma and covid patients to breathe in this polluted atmosphere. Besides this , the shopkeepers of this area due to this unbearable smell have to undergo a heavy loss as no one wants to purchase anything in this polluted odour.

The Govt is trying hard to make all the possible attempts to make this city smart but the main concern should be towards this grave issue to eradicate this pollution at earliest so that people may breathe fresh and pure air which is the right of every citizen.

Therefore, it is humbly requested to your highness to please intervene the matter keenly and take appropriate actions to remove this garbage and dirt so that the residents may live in an unpolluted atmosphere.

Problems faced by people regarding golden card

Removing the burden of out - of - pocket expenses, golden card scheme is the best health insurance scheme launched by Govt of India to avail cashless treatment facilities at private and public hospitals , it has improved the quality of life across India.

However, due to some current rising controversial issues between medical stores and SKIMS (Soura) hospital administration, the public is facing a bundle of hurdles in getting healthcare benefits .

Especially the patients suffering CA , CKD , or have to undergo cardiac surgery rely entirely on this health insurance scheme, those patients cannot be deprived of such facilities. Moreover among these chronic patients who are not able to get themselves treated at private healthcare need desperately such facilities.

SUBJECT..INHUMAN INCIDENT OF A GIRL AT SOIBUG AREA OF BUDGAM ..

It is being written grievously that Kashmir has become a hub of criminal activities causing an immense threat and anxiety among the people.

The recent horrible and threatening act that happened in Soibugh area of central Kashmir's Budgam district ,

where a 30 year old girl who has been missed from her home for the last four days has been allegedly chopped off her head and sliced her body parts into pieces and had been dumped in different spots in Budgam by a 45 year old carpenter..

The police has played its great part in arresting the accused .

It is being highly appealed to the honorable LG Manoj Sinha that culprit should be given stern and exemplary punishment inorder to prevent occurrence of such inhuman and unbearable incidents in future....
