I was just now having a chat with a friend who is a faculty in department of psychiatry GMC Srinagar !
He told me that He**in ( injectable opioid drug ) has made its entry in a big way into Kashmir drug mafia !
He said now Kashmir can start counting the dead bodies of the youth who are drug addicts ! Even one gram of He**in is sufficient to make children addicted for life !
While he said this I enquired whether Naloxone ( antidote of opioid overdose ) is available or not !
To my utter surprise he said that Naloxone is not readily available in Kashmir !
So how can you treat an opioid addict when you don't even have its antidote !
My friend also said that unreported deaths of young drug addicts who die after having sudden cardio respiratory arrest is a norm in Kashmir and people hide the real story behind these deaths due to social factors !
With all the institutions already coming under the radar of these drug peddlers Kashmir faces its toughest challenge ahead to save its generation next from self annihilation !
It is now or never !!

From our childhood, we are hearing that teachers are conscientious parents of children. They are also hailed as builders of the nation. They nourish our brains and also soak our moral and corporal composition with their compassion and versatile experience. They sacrifice their present for our future. After our parents, they looked after us, cared for us, edify us what is good and what is evil. They impart their experiences to us and assists us in accomplishing great and valuable things. I am thankful to everyone who edifies me in my childhood bestows me with good experience and encourages me to accomplish great things.
However, I am especially indebted to Sir Bah-u-Din who invariably bestow me with tremendous proficiency and experience. Dear Sir today on your retirement I would like to thank you for your compassionate and friendly attitude. I thank you for being a good mentor. I found myself enough fortunate for being your student and colleague. Your services and assistances will be remembered and recalled every time. Today delegation of AJKRKTF headed by President Mr Showkat Ahmad Khan called on by Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Government Of India Kiren Rijju at his residence Delhi. The delegation outlines all the crisis and hardships to him and also put several demands before the Ministry. The delegation addressed him about the two-year probationary period and also discussed compensating issues with him.
To all the concerns the Minister pays the sound hearing and positively assured that he will personally ponder into the matter and will take the issue with Home Ministry and J&K administration. He also affirmed that all our problems will be discussed and settled down in the set and preferential time. The delegation was led by Shaukat Ahmad Khan, Raja Shafiq Khan, Firdous Hussain, Syed Umer,,,procured warm and positive reaction from the Ministry. Hon'ble minister also assured us that during his visit to Kashmir he will take J&K administration on board for this serious problem faced by Rehbar e Khel teachers and will take every step to sort out this crisis.The delegation requests all the teachers to have some tolerance and also keep the team is special prayers.
