New Year's Eve with Sic-Fi fun 16 child leaders from Sahas and NJCT prepared and successfully presented the unique scientific experiment of hydroponic system to audience. This group was one of the 54 schools participated in a pan city event organized by NJCT & Rotary club of Udhna. "Our neighborhoods typically lack enough space for gardening. What we can do?" This question intrigued children the idea of searching about hydroponic system model. They themselves did the internet search and prepared a model. This was an easy way to grow green leafy vegetables which are extremely essential for nutrition. Children received a great appreciation from authorities and audiance for their novelty and ability of relating the science to day-to-day life. TODAY'S SPECIAL - nutritious Khichdi made by SAHAS-NJCT children! Rice, moong and tuver mixed sprouts formed the base of Khichdi and it was flooded with nutrition through different veggies from their own kitchen garden, soyabin, nuts & spices. Salad was a side dish. Yummy!! 😋 The colourful dish was shining with cabbage, carrots, tamato, methi, papdi, cauliflower eggplant, capsicum & all nutritious ingredients. Children created a kitchen garden themselves but they went one step ahead and also prepared a nutritious Khichdi made from garden ingredients. Such an accomplishment! Their parents also wholeheartedly appreciated it. 22 children spent their 1 hour in preparations and enjoyed the taste of delicious Khichdi.
