Thane District Football ADHOC Committee
Thane district had no football activity for many years and football clubs of the district were forced to participate tournaments in Mumbai. Hence WIFA at its executive meeting held on July 21st formed and ADHOC COMMITTEE to over sees all the football activities in thane district. Under the Chairmanship of Mr.Pyarlal Chaudhary and convener Mr.Sunil Poojari
Thane District league will start in venues of Mira-Bhayandar, Thane, Navi Mumbai, & Kalyan. The 2 top winners of the different venue will play a knockout tournament and all the 8 teams will form super division in next year 2019-2020 football season
Thane boys will have tremendous opportunity to demonstrate their skill which will be organised in the city they reside. they will now have an opportunity to be selected for all official tournaments conducted by WIFA U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19 and leagues for the seniors Football scouts are looking for talent they will further have opportunity to play in recognised football clubs in India in I league and ISL
