फिर यह वक़्त भी आया जब रात गए लंदन की तारीक़ गलियों में औंधे मुंह पड़ी हुई नजर आती! बार और क्लब ने उनकी एंट्री पर पाबंदी लगा रखी थी! नशा और डिप्रेशन एमी का हुस्न, शोहरत, इज्जत, आलीशान जिंदगी सब खा गया!
आठ सालों में एमी ने जिंदगी का हर रूप देखा अधूरे रिश्ते, अपनों की बेमुरौवती, मतलबी दोस्त उन सब से एमी तन्हाई और डिप्रेशन का शिकार होती गई!
उसके जज्बात उसके गानों में भी मिलते! वह जिंदगी की रंगीनियों से दूर होती गई! अपने आखिरी वक़्त में वह बिल्कुल तन्हा हो गई थी!
