Absolutely felt gorgeous in this midi dress from . I was totally in love with this authentic green and araku border. Evergreen combo right?
Paired it with pearl accessories to complement the colors and it gave me a little traditional barbie doll look 😜.

When I started IshtyleAwhile in 2011, I wanted to focus on restyling. I was tired of reading blogs only talk about 'how to restyle a little black dress' or 'one white shirt in 7 ways'. Those posts never resonated with me because that was not my style. I couldn't find anything that was my style, so I created my own blog.
But why focus on restyling?
I've never been a fashionista. I've never been about trends. I did however own multiple boxes worth of clothes and wore less than 5% of them. The blog was supposed to be my daily journal where I wrote about my experiments with finding my personal style but more importantly, the pictures were supposed to be a way of me to keep track of what I wore and how I could rewear it differently the next time around.
In many ways, that aspect has not changed, but I did get lazy and I stopped logging my personal journey along the way.
When sent me cotton kurtas for the summer, it made me go back to my initial days of blogging, where all I wore was kurtas. I used to play it safe and usually went for solid colour kurtas to be paired with different types of bottoms.
It took a while for me to try print on print, and when I saw this light white based kurta from their collection, I knew that I wanted to wear it in multiple ways that were NOT boring or plain
Here is my take on print on print: The kurta edition.
Outfit 1: Paired with big polka dotted straight cut pants.
Outfit 2: Paired with indigo cigarette pants
Outfit 3: Paired with a floral print salwar bottom.
I found it hard to find a personal favourite from these 3 options, but I would love to know if you have any favourite.
