Imagine your energy was actual money. Would you spend it on things, people and experiences that make you sad?
Our energy is limited. From the time we wake up to the time we fall asleep, we constantly make energy “transactions”. We are utilising our energy, wasting it, gaining it and managing it.
So it’s important we learn to recognise and manage our energy properly. Some of the best ways to conserve energy is to set healthy limits, prioritise tasks and be aware of what you consume (including media, food and relationships).
We need to learn to utilise our energy well. Spend our mornings doing the biggest task with utmost attention. Because where attnetion goes, energy flows.
We must also maximise our energy by taking healthy breaks. Meditation can help us boost our energy throughout the day. Make it a habit to practice breath mindfulness as a break in the middle of an action packed day. Remember to maintain healthy sleep patterns.
