On his highness Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur. Today 17th May 2021 his 74th Death Anniversary. He is the Architect of Modern Tripura. He had setup Higher Educational Institutions in Tripura. He was also Educationist. He was the only King of Tripura who visited Europe and America from 1931 to 1939. Maharaja reserved TTAADC land areas for Native Tripuri people. suddenly after Maharaja demise in very young age of 39 in 1947 his wife Maharani Kanchan Prabha Devi merged Twipra/Tripura with India.
