Size 10.5 by 7.5 inches
Whenever satanic forces rise to unsettle the workings of Cosmos, the Supreme Creator through His inconceivable energies checks such forces at once. Goddess Durga is one of the female energies of the Supreme Absolute who is known as Devi, Shakti, the unconquerable force. She is considered as the purest root cause of creation, maintenance and destruction.
She is considered a symbol of strength, protection, courage, destruction and motherhood. In almost all of her portraits, Maa Durga is seen riding a lion. Lion is the 'vahana' or vehicle of Maa Durga. The animal also represents the power of Maa Durga.
