Drug (substance) abuse has become a worldwide menace. No part of the world is free from the curse of drug addiction. Drug abuse has emerged as a serious concern, adversely affecting the physical and socio-economic well-being of the country. It has enormous presence on public health across various sections of society. The epidemic of drug abuse in younger generation has assumed alarming dimensions in India. The stress and strain of the modern-day life has rendered the individual more vulnerable to the problem of substance abuse. Addiction to alcohol/drugs not only affects the individual involved, but also the family and society at large.

FRNDS CHD और नन्हे कदम के स्वयंसेवकों ने चरण 1 चंडीगढ़ के स्लम क्षेत्र में वंचित बच्चों को 100 से अधिक फल और खाद्य सामग्री वितरित की। साथ ही औद्योगिक क्षेत्र फेज 1 चंडीगढ़ के फायर स्टेशन पर अग्रिम पंक्ति के योद्धाओं को मास्क और सैनिटाइजर का वितरण भी किया |

We are organising a "GREEN GYM" event wi which promotes living trash-free. The event is a plogging event i.e. pick-up the trash while jogging where participants will be running a specified distance and clean the same on their way. It is a virtual event, and people can go for plogging at the venue of their choice. The event is so planned that Covid restrictions are not violated and the objective is being met.
Participants will be provided with plogging gears including a T-Shirt, Mask, Gloves, Sanitizer and Bag to collect the trash. They will also receive an E- Certificate from AIESEC, an UN-recognised organisation for taking part in the social impact event.
We at AIESEC and are making a sincere request of collaborating with us and help Indians live in a trash-free environment. We believe together we can make a change. To get better clarity of the event we can also connect on a call and discuss the details DM us.

We celebrated the auspicious occasion of Republic Day with the kids of Yuvastampth NGO, Balmiki Dharamshala, Sector 26, Chandigarh. We did a lot of fun activities and distributed notebooks, food items, clothes, etc.
