𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲

The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Saturday 19th October 2019 ,with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.

Students competed in events including Passing ball, relays, sack race, obstacle race and Ready fir school.

To inspire a healthy sense of competition,
Management have been allocated one of the four houses which symbolize the school’s values. Students develop a sense of belonging and a feeling of unity in
being a part of a specific house.

The four houses are named as
Kedar – Blue House, Gangotri– Green House, Badri– Red House
and Yamnotri – Yellow House,

Rangoli Competition

GVS organized an ‘Inter-House Rangoli Competition’ in the school premises, on 22. October. 2019

The theme of the competition was ‘Diwali’. 4 Students from each Houses of the school participated and glorified the event.

Badri House was adjudged first whereas Yamnotri House secured 2nd and Gangotri 3rd positions and Kedar 4th position respectively.

𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥

- On 22nd of September, we organised a Free medical Camp at Ganga Valley public school for locals public and school children.

- Dr. Shishir , Dr. Renu Prasad and their team from Haridwar examined 200 people.

- Kids usually spend 5-6 hours in school studying and most of the students might suffer from certain eye and ear defects so the school aurthorities took initiative to protect the young one’s and examined the students.

- The objective of the camp was to provide information regarding diet, exercise and weight control. Free medicines have been provided too.

- We provided green tea and refreshment to the patients and lunch for doctors.

Nothing is impossible. Certain things are just less likely than others but if we work hard and keep our focus on goal .. nothing is impossible.

Students of 𝙂𝘼𝙉𝙂𝘼 𝙑𝘼𝙇𝙇𝙀𝙔 𝙋𝙐𝘽𝙇𝙄𝘾 𝙎𝘾𝙃𝙊𝙊𝙇, created beautiful Rangoli with great enthusiasm as they put together their artistic, imaginative and creative skills to make bright and beautiful Rangoli's on the theme “Freedom & Unity”.

In preparation for the independence week celebration GVS has took initiative for go green campaign under this initiative the fruit saplings have been planted around the Laxman jhula.

Children and teachers of 𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔 𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 Participated Whole heartedly in the campaign and introduced 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙞𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙚 campaign to increase 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐥 awareness on plantation drive.

Trees are literally the source of life on this earth, they have preserved our environment by reducing the amount of CO2 and are also responsible for keeping the air fresh and clean. Therefore on this coming Independence Day we appeal to all of u to plant a tree and celebrate this joyess occasion that makes every Indian proud.
