Shivkhori is one less discovered place in the outskirts of Jammu.
But love for Shiva 😍 would surely draw you there.

Sometimes all you need is to sit alone, spend some time with yourself and listen to yourself.
I love to do that at least once on my trip.
When everybody is busy in clicking pictures,
It's just me sitting away from everyone looking at nature having a talk myself more like listening to nature and feeling it within.

Looking at attire you may think that we are somewhere in the mountains but actually, we were in Goa wearing Long sleeves T-shirts. 🤣😂
It was last week of January 2018, I went from Jaipur to Delhi, I had a bottle with warm water in it and when I reached Delhi it became ice-cold due to the temperature.
We traveled from Delhi to Goa wearing, thermal, sweatshirt, and properly covered, little did we know what awaits for us in Goa. 🤣😂
We were walking towards our hotel and I literally had to change that sweatshirt and thermal to a thin T-shirt in the middle of the road because I couldn't bear the hot weather anymore.
So, I changed and reached the hotel, took a bath changed again, and wore this long sleeves t-shirt and went on the streets to explore and look for some food.

Harmandir Sahib = Peace

Though we may look exhausted but we were at peace.
Even though we were clicking pictures to share,
But we didn't bother too much on how we look.
Vibes of this place needs no explanation rather felt by oneself.

Not many people know about this place in Amritsar.
We were told this to be Valmiki Ashram where Luv and Kush were born.
This place was spread out in a large area but there were very few people there.
You get a Hassle-free environment and chill vibes at this place.

As the snow starts to melt, leaving dry moss behind and uncovering the plains.
It was surely such a beauty to have so distant colors of white bright snow, the pale dry moss, and the brownish plains with some ropeways in the sky.
But do you know what was the beautiful part?

It was the sound of streams of melting snow, washing itself of itself, to become water and flowing freely without a destination, without an end, just flowing.

Sunsets are beautiful, nothing new in it.
But what’s great is that it shows the endings can be so soothing as well.
The current situation just feels like a day in a desert.
It starts to get warm as the day proceeds, it is at its peak and you can’t withstand the heat.
Slowly come the beautiful sunset and cold soothing nights.
As time will pass, the situation will become much beautiful.
So, just hold on to it.

When I’m in the mountains 🏔️, I “Live”.
While I am in lockdown, I just think about “Living”
This lockdown has made me realize how unpredictable human life is, and we have so little time and a lot to explore in this one lifetime of ours.
I am not sure about you, but I surely pledge to “Live” more, squeeze the best out of the moments and make beautiful memories to cherish in my small lifetime.

Sitting between endless dunes made up of loose sand. Probably a land which was green someday but the years ⏳ of thirst silenced it and made it an empty but peaceful architecture of nature.
The amazing part about these deserts 🏜️ is they are soothing cold, like heaven in the night 🌌 and blazing hot, like hell in the noon.
Deserts truly are a perfect blend of peaceful heaven and burning hell.

While talking so much about mountains we forget about the calmness and menacing nature of oceans.
While on the shore you’re looking at them at peace, while between it, you have at least some fear of it showing the untranquil side.
As much as I love mountains, I love the oceans too.
While in the quarantine, I can just imagine laying on a beach shack, looking at the endless ocean, with my laptop beside and my fav. Melodies playing on the speaker.
All this makes me feel, the beaches are so underdog. What do you think?

The photo was clicked at Valmiki Ashram in Amritsar! This place was widely spread and so calm with very fewer visitors. This huge Hanuman Murti was such a beautiful sight to have a look at with peace all around.
Here is a myth or fact for you guys.
We all know that Ramayan was written by Valmiki, but it is said that there was another version of Ramayan which was carved by Hanuman Ji on Seven banana leaves by his nails.
It is said to be so good, that Valmiki started crying after reading it as no one would read his Ramayan, basically, Hanuman Ji nailed it.
Hanuman Ji tore the leaves, and now that Ramayan is no more available.

Sleighing in Patnitop.
I had to give 100Rs for this 10-15 seconds of joy which made me think fun can be expensive sometimes.
But when I thought more into it,
I realized that after giving that 100 Rs. what I got was.
1.) 10-15 seconds of a fun ride.

2.) This photo that you were looking at and will look at it again after reading the caption.

3.) A video of it.

4.) +1 Instagram posts and lots of likes.

5.) And most importantly the opportunity of writing about that experience which you are reading right now.

Who would have thought that starting the year with this beautiful view would turn into such a nightmare in just 3 months.
Glad that I have so much of memories kept to look at in this quarantine time.
And I'm glad that I traveled whenever I got the chance.
I think a lot of people would be traveling more often once this gets over, will you do the same?

This is how you look when you haven't slept for two nights.
First night due to the excitement of the trip beginning early the next day.
Second night due to the fact I can't sleep on the bus 😭😭😭
But these sleepless nights are always worthy.
Ahead was the Jibhi waterfall, and the drops falling over the face, you don't feel tired anymore. 😍

The place is called Mini Thailand which comes after a little bit of trekking down.
What lies beyond is beautiful clear water flowing and the sound of it is so soothing because it doesn't mix with the horn noises.
