Fresh Lal mirchi achar
Ingredients -
Lal mirch( red pepper 🌶️) - an excellent source of vitamin C, a good source of vitamin A and fiber and have antioxidant properties
Rai( mustard seeds ) - for ages used for hair growth. They contain are rich in lutein and carotene which slows down ageing
Garam masala( homemade) - boost digestion and metabolism, fights bad breath, bloating and flatulence ( excessive gas) and bad breath.
Aamchur( dry unripe mango powder)- i will only mention that in Ayurvedic medicine amchur it is used to keep the heart in good functioning order.
Saunf( fennel )- Ayurveda says it is a potent detoxifier and clears out the toxins from the body.
In small quantities i have added
Hing( asafoetida) - antispasmodic, expectorant, stimulant, emmenagogue and vermifuge. Drink hing water during your periods to get relief.
Methi - many uses from controlling diabetes to relieving constipation
Kalonji - as an integral part of Ayurvedic medicine, is used to treat disorders of stomach, heart, eyes, and neurological conditions
For preservatives we have used mustard oil and salt ....and no artificial preservatives
When we add lemon 🍋 to ginger the colour to pink - the reason is Anthocyanin, a color pigment in new ginger reacts with lemon juice and turns the sliced ginger to pink color. No synthetic food coloring is involved. ... Fresh ginger has higher anthocyanin content than ginger that has been stored for weeks.
Ingredients of Dry dates pachak
Dry dates - richest source of polyphenols among dried fruits and help in better digestion, diabetes management, and even cancer prevention.
Lemon - contains 31 grams of Vitamin C, which is nearly double the amount of Vitamin C needed in your daily diet.
Black salt - is a part of many ayurvedic medicines, and my favourite is it helps in weight loss as it reduce our sodium intake while also avoiding water retention and bloating
Jeera - a very good source of potassium and iron, helps in building our immunity system, rich in antioxidants and has anti-bacterial properties
In 100 gm of pachak there is around 5 gm sugar and 4 gm white salt

Ingredients of ajwain and methi pachak
Methi - improve heart health, treat anaemia and joint pain, detoxify blood and we all know methi reduce hair fall
Ajwain - mostly used for constipation it also has antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties
Lemon - control weight and reduce cancer risk to name a few
Black salt - heartburn(acidity) and bloating(problem due to gas)
Pepper - antioxidant
