Weekend? What weekend?
I’m up and about this Saturday but all I want is to plonk myself on the bed and binge watch something. You see everything I’m sitting on?
What say you? What should Wolfie do?
Cartwheeling over all my inhibitions, judgements and self doubt!
We plan and plan and plan but what about executing it? How many of you are stuck on the planning level?
The constant need of creating content might bring a lot of anxiety. But so many times we don’t realise the amount of content we’re sitting on and how we can use it.
Some things you can do
1. Evaluate what you have
2. Revise old content
3. Take a break, unwind and come back with a fresh mindset.
I was successfully at this for the last few days until before the weekend when I fell sick.

Everyone has their own process of building disciplines. I find that so many people wait for motivation when it’s actually discipline that will take you far in life.

2020 has been hard but don’t hate it for how hard it has been.... Think of it as a forced sick leave for the world! And don’t forget 2020 has also given us ample opportunity to rest, to ponder, to reflect and to invent.
Stretch yourself and extend yourself but also take care of yourself!
What’s the one thing you did for yourself today?
So often the struggle for creators who are skilled in multiple disciplines is whether to create boundaries or get the work done.
This is how I navigate the path! How do you do it?

For many weeks in the lockdown I was struggling with the imposter syndrome. I felt I wasn’t good enough at anything! But slowly over time I have learned that it’s important to accept myself as I am in the moment, obviously with the goal to be better in the next.
Have you felt this way at any point? Share in the comments how you wriggle or walk out of it!
What are you creating today?
Want to grow your Instagram and fast? Well as they say there are no shortcuts to success, having said that, it’s not that difficult either!

Morning routines are important! For many years I didn’t have one, because I was working nights and then after that too cause I had just gotten off night shifts and was enjoying sleeping in a little late. And then the routine was to wake up at 5.30 and dash out of the house by 6.15 as I had to reach the other end of town by 8.
This lockdown though has allowed me to slow down a little and breathe. Also have my little morning rituals.

Do you agree? What dreams are you chasing?
🚀Nope, normal people don’t escape the rat race. Outliers do. Who are you? Better still, who do you want to become?
•
🎯We live in an era of conspicuous consumption, and we know it sucks. Everyone complains about it. Very few ever seem to escape it. The reason for this is that we’ve been trained to be rats. To be caged. To find our wheels. And run, and run and run. Tirelessly. Until we die.
•
❓Why are we taught this? Who taught us this? Well, that’s something for each one of us to reflect on. But what we can focus on right now, is HOW TO ESCAPE IT.
•
1️⃣STOP BUYING FRIVOLOUS S**T. Just because your best friend did. Try minimalism. Get a hold on your personal finances. Cut out all unnecessary spendings. Make a budget. Save money. It takes discipline and courage to that. You can.
•
2️⃣CHANGE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MONEY. Money is a necessary part of our living and lifestyle. But it isn’t the be-all and end-all. Know your monthly financial need, add security money, focus on earning just that. So you don’t have to hustle for money. Rather you get to hustle for things you are passionate about.
•
🤖Pro tip 1: Invest your money in income-producing assets.
•
🤖Pro tip 2: Stop trading time for money. The more you do that, the more you’re stuck in the rat race.
•
3️⃣START ONLINE BUSINESSES. The times that we are in, the world is adapting to digital platforms to grow businesses. You and your mum and your neighbor and all people you know should have online businesses. Even if you don’t plan on quitting your job, you can build an online “side-hustle” in your spare time.
•
No matter how hard, if we are resolute to escape this rat race, we can!
🍻Upwards and Onward!
Change is the only constant in life.

Here's what I think: IF YOU DON'T ENGAGE AND TRY NEW THINGS, YOUR BRAND WILL NEVER GROW!
May sound harsh but it’s true.
▪️
Many brands can be extremely reluctant to experiment because they find the idea too antithetical and that their audience may not be able to take it well. I get it. It's harder to experiment especially when your business or personal brand is at stakes, and nobody wants to be the person who hits the axe on one's own foot.
▪️
But, you see, the world has evolved in their ways of consumption from the mainstream TV, radio, newspaper and print. The world is on the internet and we will only evolve further. And these OTT platforms work differently and require a different approach and tools to reach out to people. ▪️
Long story really short, experimentation isn't an option. It's a necessity. And the sooner you and your brand, no matter how big or small, niche or mainstream, young or old, embrace this, the sooner you'll be able to make ground breaking pathways into your audience's hearts, which in turn will bring you a lot of satisfaction and relevance in these changing times, ESPECIALLY IN THESE CHANGING TIMES. People slip into boredom easily being locked down.
Let me know what you think about it?
Cheers! 🍻
Simple is often the most challenging to create.

As a young designer it can be overwhelming and daunting to create your portfolio. Where do you start?
One of the best ways is to create product mock-ups. Here are my reasons as to why.
is the Festival of Lights. This year wherever you are light a lamp 🪔 with love and hope for the entire world, the world can always do with more love and light.
Happy Diwali to you and yours and everyone!
Sometimes all a client can think about it why don’t I have more followers. I tell them that strategy and content can take you far but unless you’re working on these four pillars, you won’t see real growth.
1. Consistency - You have to post every day of every week. Show up for them and they will show up for you!
2. Engagement - You can’t expect people to be warm and welcoming to you if you’re not the same for them! Spend some time on the platform engaging with the work of others and you will see a change.
3. Clarity - Be clear what you are here for. Don’t be posting food, portraits, social media advice, Netflix reviews all in one! People wouldn’t know what to come to you for.
4. Giving - If you’re not here to be part of the community and give what you have and offer value, there may be a problem! Don’t be a taker. There’s real joy in giving!

Creativity is a muscle!
That’s right! And like any other muscle it needs to be worked on, exercised and strengthened.
How?
Don’t limit yourself - explore, engage with and entertain your ideas and create content with what you have! Don’t get bogged down by the idea of perfection!
Practice as much as you can! Engage with the work of other artists, performers, authors. It will open your mind to other ways of looking at the world.
What are you going to create today?
Human beings are magical. I truly truly believe that. And if you are magical, everything you create is too! So many times we get stuck in this cycle, no equipment, no location, no props, no nothing hence no content. I try to find small things that I shoot with... wait for it... my iPhone SE 1 (yes! 1!).
What will you create today?
Creativity never waits for that perfect moment to strike. It owns it perfect moments of the ordinary regular ones.
•
Consistency is key. You must have often heard that practice makes a man perfect. Well, each practice will take you one step close to perfection, is what we believe. If you thinnk one day of practice in a month qualifies, let me tell you, friend, you may be cheating yourself. And you deserve to actualise your creativity because it's worth it.
•
Ideate. Ideate. Ideate. You have multiple inspiration around you, so don't wait for that perfect inspiration. You got a chair next to you, begin creating with the chair and see where it leads you. In our experience, it leads to curiosity and imagination. Brain is fueled, goes places. •
Comfort is easy, feels good, may validate AND never lets you rise above. We often resist trying new things out, out of fear, and we give ourselves a good enough reason to not do it. And where does it lead us? Next to that chair which is calling out to become a million-dollar idea but we chose not to step outside of our comfort zone. Resistance wins, who loses?
•
Keep yourself informed. For imagination and creativity to bloom, you need to consume quality content to know your possibilities. "If that gal can, I too can!" Also, cultivating an eye for what's excellent and what's mediocre. Set your parameters. But consume first.
