Honda All New City Summary
The all-new fifth-generation Honda City was launched in India in July 2020. The car is available in nine various trim levels. It comes with one petrol engine paired to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed CVT automatic while the diesel engine is coupled with only a six-speed manual gearbox.

Outside, the City features all-new nine arrays of LED headlamps at the front along with LED DRLs and J-shaped turn signals. The rear end also features LED taillamps. Overall, the length of the City has been increased by 109mm and now it measures 4,549mm. But the wheelbase remains the same as the previous model that is 2,600mm. Besides the car gets 16-inch alloy wheels for top-end variants and 15-inch alloys for other variants.

The interior of the all-new City features a blend of beige and black colours. It features leather upholstery for seats and cushioned central armrest as well as door armrests. The instrument cluster comes with a seven-inch display and analogue dial. Besides, there is an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen system that supports smartphone connectivity.

The City gets connect car tech feature such as Alexa remote connect as well as 32 other features. It comes with a blind spot monitoring camera located beneath the left ORVM and the camera switches on when the left turn signal is on.

The Compass has been around for three years now and this is the first major update that Jeep has given the mid-size SUV. It sports the signature seven-box front grille with chrome inserts and sleek LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The bumper has also been reworked adding a black horizontal air intake in the middle flanked by LED fog lamps. The 18-inch alloys are new as well with a new five-spoke two-tone design.

On the inside, the party piece is the floating 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with FCA’s latest Uconnect 5 now placed above the aircon vents. The driver is further allured with an all-digital 10.2-inch instrument commanded by a new three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel. Other additions to the cabin include wireless smartphone charging, front ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera setup, power tailgate, cruise control, and eight-way power-adjustable front seats with the driver side getting a memory function.

The Compass also scores high on safety and is equipped with over 60 plus active and passive safety features such as six airbags, rain brake support, hill hold and descent control, electronic roll mitigation, and brake lock differential amongst others. The connected car technology on the Compass packs in vehicle data, location-based services, stolen vehicle assist, geofencing, and driver analytics.

The engines under the bonnet remain the same with a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel motor. The former makes 160bhp/250Nm torque while the latter is good for 168bhp and 350Nm of peak torque. The six-speed manual gearbox is shared by both engines. A seven-speed DCT unit is also on offer for the petrol while the oil burner gets a nine-speed automatic transmission with a 4x4 drive configuration.

Tata has brought back its flagship nameplate, the Safari with a completely new SUV. It is available in nine variants namely - XE, XM, XMA, XT, XT Plus, XZ, XZ Plus, XZA and XZA Plus. The Safari has dual-tone interiors - Black and White. Tata has given Oyster White leather upholstery for the seats. Similarly, there is an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets iRA connected car tech for remote smartphone connectivity. Additionally, the SUV comes with a cooled glovebox, seven-inch TFT colour display in the instrument cluster, nine-speaker JBL sound system (Only for selected models) and ambient lighting.

Tata offers various features such as six airbags, hill hold control, rollover mitigation, corner stability control, four discs brakes, cruise control, auto dimming rear-view mirror, auto headlamps and wipers, a panoramic sunroof etc.

The SUV gets a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque and it is paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The price of Tata Safari starts at Rs. 14.99 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 21.81 Lakh. Tata Safari is offered in 15 variants - the base model of Safari is XE and the top variant Tata Safari XZA Plus Adventure Edition AT which comes at a price tag of Rs. 21.81 Lakh.
