Lake Water Is Dirty and Fish Stink
The lake memory that goes the furthest back is the day my dad took me fishing. My parents were divorced by this time. My mom and I lived in Missouri, my dad in Texas. On this summer trip to see him, he determined this was the year I should learn to fish.
Lake Water Is Dirty and Fish Stink My first lake memory is of when my dad took me fishing to Grapevine Lake in Texas. It was hot. The water was dirty. Fish stank. Worms were fun. Nothing to drink but Coors.
