Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge developed fabric made up of a combination of fibres to broadcast sound. This sound-sensing fabric can convert the vibrations into a voltage signal and make an audible sound.

Scientist at University of Michigan claimed to treat cancer patient through a technique called 'histotripsy'. This non-invasive technique directs ultrasound waves to destroy target tissue. Professor Zhen Xu from biomedical department and co-author says, "Even if we don't target the entire tumor we still cause the tumor to regress and also reduce risk of future metastasis."

January 8, 2022 marks Sir Stephen Hawking's 80th birth anniversary. The legendary scientist made significant contributions in the field of physics. He is known for his work in cosmology, gravitation, quantum theory of black holes and thermodynamics.
His famous five discoveries include

2. Laws of Black Hole Mechanics, 1971-72
3. Cosmic Inflation Theory, 1982
4. Model on the Wave Function of the Universe, 1983

It is a condition when a person is infected with corona and flu at the same time.
