As per the SEBI circular, all new investors in the securities market need to mandatorily link their PAN with Aadhaar. Existing investors who have not linked their PAN with Aadhaar need to do so by 31st March 2023. It is important to note that failure to link PAN with Aadhaar may result in the deactivation of the investor's account or restriction on transactions.
