Annual sports meet was organised today in the school under FIT India program in which school principal Smt. Meena Rathore presided over as the chief guest of the event. She was welcomed by School Vice Principal Sh. Budhi Singh Thakur and escorted to her seat by the school head boy and head girl. The event Nodal officer DPE Sh. Sudhir Bisht and PET Shri Narendra Kumar ran the whole event with various sports activities in which interhouse competitions were fulfilled.
In the end prize distribution ceremony was also conducted in which chief guest distributed the medal to the winners and also blessed the players with her blessings.

Today, Special campaign for Road safety program was organised in the school in which RTO Mandi Smt. Anita Katoch presided over the campaign as the chief guest. BPO cm Principal GMSSS Chauntra Sh. Kalyan Thakur was also present in this special campaign.
School principal Smt. Meena Rathore aware the general public along with the school students about "Don't mix Drink and Drive" program of the Transport Department.
All the eminent personalities share their valuable views about the Road safety topic. In the end chief guest also explained the various road safety rules and invoked the public to follow these rules for their own safety.

On 7th November, we are celebrating the Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day at the school. School unit welcomed the school principal in their own style.
On this special day school principal Smt. Meena Rathore aware the school students about the roles and responsibilities of the scouts and guides.

GSSS Ahju arranged a Career Counselling Session with the school students about their future plans.
School Principal Smt Meena Rathore presided over this session.
In the beginning, Sh. Budhi singh Vice-Principal cm Nodal Officer extended a hearty welcome to the school principal and the school students along with his team members. He gave the overview of the session and placed the key points.
The resource person, Sh. Avinash Bhalaria Lecturer Computer Science, firstly introduced the students to the session's topic - Utilization of electronic gadgets and social media along with the cyber crime. He explained the positives and negatives of these in the outer world.
He also urged the students to be vigilant about cyber crimes in this technology era.
The session was immensely enriching,informative and ended with the vote of thanks to the audience.

राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला अहजू के गणित प्रवक्ता श्री रवि बिष्ट ने सरकार द्वारा आयोजित "Role of schools in Conservation of Natural and Cultural Heritage " कार्यशाला में अपनी भागेदारी सुनिश्चित की।
इस कार्यशाला का आयोजन संस्कृत स्त्रोत एवं प्रशिक्षण केंद्र नई दिल्ली द्वारा दिनांक 10/10/2023 से 19/10/2023 तक दिल्ली में हुआ जिसमें कुल 18 राज्यों के 117 अध्यापकों ने भाग लिया। कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देना तथा आने वाली भावी पीढ़ी को अपनी संस्कृति को आगे संजोकर रखने हेतु प्रेरित करना था। कार्यशाला में मिट्टी के बर्तन बनाना, कपड़ों में डाई करना, मधुबनी पेंटिंग्स करना, भरतनाट्यम व अपने-अपने राज्य के गीत संगीत को आगे बढ़ाना मुख्य उद्देश्य रहा। कार्यशाला में इन सब कलाओं को स्कूली शिक्षा के साथ कैसे जोड़ा जाए इस पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई व विशेषज्ञ वक्ताओं के द्वारा कार्यशाला में जानकारी दी गई। भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार की कार्यशाला का आयोजन होता रहना चाहिए ताकि हम अपनी संस्कृति व प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के संरक्षण के बारे में जानकारी हासिल करते रहें।

सरकार द्वारा आयोजित खादी महोत्सव पर अहजू स्कूल के बच्चों ने अपना जलवा दिखाया। इस उपलक्ष्य पर पाठशाला में भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें बच्चों ने खादी के महत्व को उजागार किया।
पाठशाला प्रधानाचार्य श्रीमती मीना राठौर ने बच्चों को खादी अपनाने पर बल देने को कहा। उन्होंने "local for vocal" के बारे में बताते हुए देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को ऊपर लाने में खादी के महत्व को स्पष्ट किया।
प्रथम,द्वितीय एवं तृतीय पुरस्कार पाकर बच्चों ने अपनी उत्कृष्टता साबित की।

'मेरी माटी मेरा देश' कार्यक्रम के तहत कलश यात्रा का आयोजन स्थानीय पाठशाला में किया गया।
इस तरह के कार्यक्रम समय समय पर सरकार के आदेशानुसार बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास हेतु करवाये जा रहे हैं।

Today 'Shweta' the student of 10+2 class was honored by the school principal in the school morning assembly who stood 2nd in the "Kala Utsav" zonal level competition.
Principal Smt. Meena Rathore offered her blessings to the student and asked other students to participate actively in the school activities along with their primary work of study.

On the eve of International Day for Disaster Reduction, the painting competition, slogan writing competition and essay writing competition was conducted at interhouse level.
These activities are mandatory for the all round development of the school students.

भारतीय रेड क्रोस सोसाइटी के तहत जादूगर प्रवीन सोनी द्वारा स्थानीय पाठशाला के बच्चों को आज जादू का कार्यक्रम दिखाया गया। यह बच्चो को तनाव भरी जिंदगी से दूर रखने की एक अच्छी पहल है। इस तरह के कार्यक्रम निश्चय ही बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे।

झलकियां:

A Mockdrill was conducted for the students in the school premises today; which was based on the rescue techniques during natural or man made disasters like earthquakes, fire Incidences etc. This highly informative and participatory mockdrill was led by various team members under the supervision of team Incharges. B.ed. trainees were also the part of various team members.

Various useful rescue techniques like human crutch method, pick and back, fireman lift, toe drag, use of hand sheet, and forehand aft method etc were demonstrated by the teams. The students were given a detailed lecture on the topics related to disaster management by the Disaster management incharge Sh. Sudhir Bisht.

Officiating Principal Sh. Subhash Rana called the devastation caused by recent heavy rain; and asserted upon the need of learning Disaster Management techniques and Environmental Conservation to minimise the impact of calamities. To concluded the program, the associated faculty expressed thankfulness towards the Principal for organising a highly informative mockdrill; and the students for their attention and participation.

आज 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर स्थानीय पाठशाला में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया । इस कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कार्यवाहक प्रधानाचार्य श्री बुधि सिंह ने की। कार्यक्रम का संचालन हिंदी अध्यापिका श्रीमती अरूणा गुलेरिया ने किया जिसमें गणित अध्यापिका श्रीमती अंजिला बरवाल ने उनका सहयोग दिया।
इस कार्यक्रम में हिंदी प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जिसमें महाराणा प्रताप सदन के अभिषेक और साहित्य ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया।
इसके साथ ही कला स्नातक अध्यापक श्री रमेश कुमार ने हिंदी भाषा के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला। कार्यक्रम में पाठशाला के बच्चों के साथ सभी अध्यापकों ने भी भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत मे कार्यवाहक प्रधानाचार्य ने बच्चों को अपना शुभ सन्देश देकर अनुगृहीत किया।
