We get 50% of molecular DNA from the mother and 50% from the father.
But we get 100% mitochondrial DNA from the mother. Mitochondria and their DNA only come from the mother to the baby. Mitochondria produce ATP. ATP is the source of energy in our body. So, we receive power from our mother. And our mother gets it from her mother and our father also gets it from his mother.

It is considered that the Moon and the Earth are at a closer distance on Sharad Poornima night. Due to this, the rays of the moon have several curative properties. Keeping food under the moonlight nourishes both the body and the soul. That is why, Kheer is prepared at kept under moonlight for the whole night and eaten in morning, on the next day.
Sharad Poornima is also known as Kojaagari Poornima or Kumar Poornima. It is celebrated on the full moon day of the lunar month of Ashvin. The brightness of the full moon brings special joy. It is believed that on this day, the Moon through its rays showers amrit or elixir of life on earth.
Since the full moon pours down a tremendous amount of energy, you must be in a calm state of mind to receive a positive effect. Remember that whatever is going on in your body, mind and spirit will be amplified.
