Tips for Sehri/ Suhoor Nutrition
Many of them who fast for Ramadan, skip Suhoor.
Your Suhoor meal is an important aspect of fasting as it helps your body fuel better to fast for next 14-18 hours without water 💧 and food 🍲 . It should be an ideal combination of complex carbs, good protein & fat.
Good carbs can be fruits, oats, red or brown rice or gluten free chapattis.
Good proteins can include eggs 🍳,chicken 🍗 and fish 🐠
& Good fats can be ghee, coconut oil, avocados 🥑, nuts, nut butter.If can’t eat a full meal, stick to easy options like peanut butter sandwich, oatmeal, scrambled egg 🥚
People with gut health issues, ensure lot of pro & Pre biotic, fermented foods, boosting gut friendly food in your schedule like ginger, fennel seeds, CCF water, buttermilk.
