Required Deck officers with PCC for anchor handling supervision and anchor pattern review.

Educational Qualification & Experience
- Certificate of Competency as minimum Second Mate (Foreign Going (F.G.) or Near Coastal Vessel NCV)) issued by Director General of Shipping (DG Shipping) or equivalent certificate of competency approved/endorsed by D.G.
Shipping.
- At least 2 years onboard experience as independent watch-keeping officer
- Possessing valid Indian Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC) and Standard for Training, Certification & Watch Keeping (STCW) certificates"

i) The Deck Officer will be posted on various barges for on-site review (on behalf of ONGC) of the approved anchor pattern. In case of any non-feasibility, suggest changes to ONGC base for approval.
ii) On-site monitoring of the ex*****on of the approved anchor-handling plan including. but not limited to witnessing of the anchor Holding Capacity, Tests in position Survey(s); Post-installation Survey(s); and Post Retrieval Survey(s).
iii) Ensure safe positioning/anchoring of barges/vessels when not engaged in construction/other project-related activities.
