On Friday 30th July we hosted the UHCW Critical Care Party, we think its fair to say a great night was had by all! Firstly we'd like to thank Earlsdon Rugby club for hosting, Digital-Flow for the photos and Edison Music for providing the entertainment, but most of all we'd like to show our huge gratitude to the NHS, and all of our Healthcare colleagues!

After a busy period in the hospitals, our return to the kitchen can finally be confirmed, on March 12th and 13th we will be cooking up a tray inspired by our travels to Greece - the beach katina Souvlaki and gyros, the afternoon snacking of thick pita dipped in tzatziki, and the evening Mezze platters washed down with a cold Mythos 🤤

Because we feel bad for not opening in February, and because we know nobody wants to miss out on this tray, we will be open both Friday and Saturday!!

For the herbivores of our clan, our Xmas event vegan option is based around something taking London by storm. ‘Seitan’. A protein-rich meat substitute made from wheat gluten and chickpea flour. 100% meat free. Our seitan is braised slowly in a vegan chicken broth to maximise that real chicken flavour.

This dish mimics the traditional Katsu sushi roll, breadcrumbed and rolled in sticky rice, then covered in Katsu sauce and served with some Furikake Fries on the side.
