Culmination activities help to demonstrate the abilities that the child has developed to master their subjects.

Grade 1 and 2 students concluded their academic year on 22nd March 2024 through several activities like Science experiments, card making, doodling, vocabulary building games and children ended the day by sharing treats with each other.

The academic year for grade 1 and 2 concluded with fun filled colourful culmination activities like blind fold, fun with cartoons and movie time.

It was indeed a great learning experience for the teachers and the students of grade 1 and 2.

The day kicked off with a thunderous roar as students took part in water bottle game and hoop activity.
Next, budding Einstein's unicased their creativity in a flurry of experiments and demonstrations. From density of water to mesmerizing refraction of light, curiosity sparked as students delved into the wonders of science.

Culmination of Club Activities: CBSE Jayanagar Campus.

Culinary club:

“Good food choices are good investments. Good food makes good mood.”

Sudarshan Vidya Mandir conducted its culmination activities of the culinary club. Students learnt how to cook without fire in less time yet deliciously. They prepared Monaco cheese bites, refreshing mint lemonades, chocolate sandwich & many more.

As the saying goes, “you don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.” The students as cook have learnt to bring soul to a recipe.

English club:

To learn a language is to have one more window through which we look at the world. Language give you the opportunities to shift your perspective about the world.

Literary club offers a plethora of opportunities to the students to build their confidence by having an enhanced vocabulary participating in debate activities thereby paving way for an effective communication skill.

Eco club:

“Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs; not every man’s greed.”

The eco club for the academic year concluded with various activities emphasizing the importance of saving the environment using the 3R’s, to avoid polythene, importance of waste management by conducting activities on bio enzyme, making of eco brick, preparing manure, making of paper bags and the importance of water cycle. These activities gave the students, a deep insight on conserving the nature in order to have a sustainable environment.

MUN [Model United Nations]:

The MUN club culmination event was conducted on March 2nd. Students expressed their views as delegates, ambassadors of peace and advocates for progress.

NATIONAL SCIENCE DAY

“Uncommon thinkers reuse what common thinkers refuse.” National Science Day is observed to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by Sir Chandrasekara Venkata Raman popularly known as CV Raman, which became operational on February 28, 1928. The day reminds & celebrates the importance of science & its impact on the human lives.

Students actively participated in various science activities conducted in their classrooms & explored the various aspects of science in our day-to-day life.

In 1986, on the request of National Council for Science & Technology Communication [NCSTC] February 28 was designated as National Science Day by the government.

KARATE CULMINATION DAY ACTIVITIES:

The culmination day of Karate class for grade 3 & 4 was held at conference hall on 22nd Feb’ 2024 at CBSE Jayanagar Campus. The activities included routine warm up, pushes & punches, some relaxing exercises. A fun game was organized where students were blindfolded & asked to find their chair to sit. It was challenging & students enjoyed the activities.
