Department of Emergency Medicine has recently organised "Trauma Skill Course 2020"- a workshop based on International Trauma Guidelines in association with Surgeon's Association, Baroda on 16th Feb 2020.
100 + delegates benefited with the knowledge of Renowned National faculties associated with trauma care.
All the delegates were provided hands on training in ABCDE approach including Airway Adjuncts, Intubation, Needle Cricothyrotomy, Surgical Cricothyrotomy, Bag and Mask Ventilation, Intra Osseous Access, Central Venous Access with and without aid of sonography, ICD insertion, FAST. Surgical skills including bowel repair, vascular repair, tendon repair were taught on wet lab.
We are thankful to Dr. Tanuja Javdekar mam, Dean, Medical College Baroda and Dr. Rajiv Daveshwar, Medical Superintendent, SSG Hospital Sir for their support and motivation. We are thankful to Dr. Rina Shah Mam, I/C HOD, College of Physiotherapy to provide us the space for arrangement of various skill stations.
