Happy World Intellectual Property Day 2023 everyone! This year's theme is “Women in IP: Accelerating Innovation And Creativity” which is a great time to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in the field.
Women are essential to innovation and creativity. In order to create a more diverse and successful innovation ecosystem, it is important to have women actively participating in all aspects of intellectual property protection.
Women have historically been underrepresented in innovation and entrepreneurship, but recent trends of rising female innovators signal a positive picture of women participating in the innovation landscape. Female innovators bring their unique perspectives and experiences to the table and can offer solutions to problems that would not have been thought of otherwise.
It is important to have a diverse range of perspectives when creating and protecting intellectual property, as this can lead to more innovative solutions and stronger protection for everyone involved. WIPO has chosen "Women in Intellectual Property" as the theme for this year's celebration keeping in mind the incredible Women's force that has played a vital role in shaping our intellectual property landscape, from inventors and creators to attorneys and judges. Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate the women who have made significant contributions to the intellectual property field. We encourage everyone to support and promote gender equality in all aspects of intellectual property rights.
Here's to a brighter future where everyone, regardless of gender, can fully participate in and benefit from the innovations of our world.
Team IPgyan extends all women in IP a pleased & inclusive World IP Day
Team ipgyan wishes everyone a very happy, peaceful and prosperous new year.
