How to handle low moments, depression or anxiety?
In the last few years, I had many moments where I was feeling low, even temporary depression or anxiety!
What does that happen?
It is because you are expecting more from you and when you do not achieve that you start feeling sad
It is because you will face a lot of setbacks and failures and it will make you feel sad
So, What is the solution then?
1. Oxygenate the body.
When you are sad or depressed your breath becomes shallow. And due to less Oxygen in your body you feel more sad. Do deep breathing excercises
2. Live in present -
e.g. vipassana
Most problems occur because we are either living in past or worrying about future uncertainties
Learn to live in present and see good things around you
3. Gratitude List -
