How to handle low moments, depression or anxiety?

In the last few years, I had many moments where I was feeling low, even temporary depression or anxiety!

What does that happen?

It is because you are expecting more from you and when you do not achieve that you start feeling sad

It is because you will face a lot of setbacks and failures and it will make you feel sad

So, What is the solution then?

1. Oxygenate the body.
When you are sad or depressed your breath becomes shallow. And due to less Oxygen in your body you feel more sad. Do deep breathing excercises

2. Live in present -
e.g. vipassana
Most problems occur because we are either living in past or worrying about future uncertainties

Learn to live in present and see good things around you

3. Gratitude List -
Happy Memory

Make a list of things you are grateful for

Things that you have accomplished in life and instantly your body will release good neuro chemicals in your mind like Dopamine!

4. Food has energy!
You and I are made of nothing but energy

We create energy and we transform energy

Having a healthy and light good vegetarian meals could help you and your body to improve your digestion and improve the bloodflow in your body as well which will result in good mood

5. Workout -
They say that if you want to change your emotional state then change your physical state

When you work out your body releases three of the vital neuro chemicals which are responsible for your happy mind

So whenever you feel sad, just try and do some physical movements or activities

6. Talk to or be friends with positive and happy people -
One of the big problems in a current society is we try to hide our emotions specially when we are feeling low and sad

The moment you share your thoughts with some other people who can understand you, you will release lower of baggage from your mind and instantly feel good
