He has also served as MoS in Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation; and Union Minister of State in Ministry of Finance; and Ministry of Corporate Affairs. During his 2nd term as an MP, he was Chief Whip of BhartiyaJanta Party in Lok Sabha. Speaker of Lok Sabha also nominated him as the Chairman of House Committee, Lok Sabha. He has served as member of several important committees. He was awarded the Best Parliamentarian in 2013.

I am really happy to see that the art of quilting & the tailors of Bera are getting the recognition that they deserve .

The Bera Jackets and Phulghar’s have been used by royals in India and were gifted to Foreign guests of the royals since 1920’s .

As I got back from college in 2017, I wanted to promote the wildlife , jackets and Phulghar’s of Bera . This is something that was always on my Mind , it was important to make sure that people know where the jackets and Phulghar’s were coming from. 4 years ago when I had just started Bera jackets ,I was not sure, if it will make an impact but I was wrong .

I now believe that we can create international level brands in india even if you are located in rural India in a village like Bera !!

Let’s be proud of wearing our culture & support brands that are made by Indian artisans and craftsman.
