For a Yoga session
On 11th August
At 4 PM
Pooja has been guiding and helping people in their yoga and meditation practice for about four years now. For deeper understanding of this ancient Indian practice, She pursued my teacher's training in yoga and it was then she took her passion as an opprtunity to help people reach their fitness goals, be it physical or mental so that they can feel happier, healthier and energized.
This live session will be conducted in an easy to follow way which is suitable for beginners as well as even for those already practicing yoga. I hope this session is beneficial in helping you relax, ease stress and stiffness.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback too.

Seeking a way to relax and yet not a yoga person?
The Harvard Medical School in its latest health guideline said- " yoga, meditation and controlled breathing are some tried and true ways to relax".
Join in for online Yoga classes. DM for details.
Our bodies are subjected to a lot of movements, internally and externally. Are we aware of the number of times we bend forward in a day? How many times do we bend backward? What does this do to our bodies? What can we expect if we haven’t had conscious awareness of the movements for most part of our lives?
I am not saying that the goal should be to get the feet to the head right away. Yoga practitioners know that the struggle in perfecting asanas is real. Hatha Yoga does not promise an easy journey, but with consistent practice, for sure, a successful one.
What matters is the intention to push our bodies out of the comfort zone. And in doing so, the wheel proves to be an excellent instrument. You will only know if you explore. I hope you have an amazing experience practicing. Good luck. Namaste 🙏
ARDHA CHANDRA CHAPĀSANA - Sugarcane Pose
( अर्धचंद्र चापासन )
As a standing yoga balance pose challenging strength, balance and flexibility, ardha chandra chapasana is a creative way to explore letting go of personal expectations and bringing more sukha (sweetness) and less shtira (striving) into the practice.
The additional benefits of this pose include:
🔸Opens the chest and heart
🔸Improves balance and focus
🔸Increases self-esteem
🔸Strengthens arms and legs
🔸Strengthens the back of the body and spine
🔸Stretches the thighs and knees
🔵 Parivr̥tta Trikoṇāsana (Revolved Triangle Pose)
Benefits
Physical -
🔸Stretch and strengthen hamstrings , calf muscles, glutes and hips
🔸 Lengthens the spine
🔸 Eliminates back pain
Physiological: -
🔸 Stimulates the digestive system
🔸 Improves breathing
🔸 Improves the health of thoracic spine
Psychological: -
🔸 Balances the mind
🔸 Builds concentration and awareness
🔸 Unlocks the chakras
Contraindications: -
🔸 The asana practice should be avoided in case of migraine, low blood pressure and diarrhoea
🔸 Incase of knee pain or hamstring injury, keep the knees slightly bent
🔸Avoid looking up in case of discomfort in the neck
🔸 Spine injury
🔸 Pregnancy

🔸Engage the legs actively for strong foundation
🔸Narrow stance
Ardha Chandrasana (are-dah chan-DRAH-suh-nuh)
Physical Benefits -
• It removes stiffness in the lower back and tones the sacroiliac area
•It develops the leg by strengthening the knees and the lateral muscles of the leg
• It relives pressure in the abdominal region
• It improves coordination and balance
• This is a good standing pose for women who are menstruating and can be taken with the back against the wall
Energetic Benefits -
• This pose reminds yogis to be aware of both halves of their bodies
• The right half represents the sun (the masculine energy) and the left half represents the moon (the feminine energy)
• Yogis understand the body-mind complex as a combination and balance of these two energies: strength and love
• These energies should be balanced by the opposite positive energies to bring balance physically and mentally
Within our yoga practice let us find balance under the sun and the moon. May our heart remain at peace with the universe.
Contraindications -
• Those who have a hamstring tear should approach this asana carefully
• Elderly, frail and pregnant practitioners should do this asana by leaning against a wall
• For those with any neck injuries look forward or down

Barely believable, The Yoga Wheel opens up the body in a way never experienced before, developing a deeper practice.
Incorporating this prop in the practice is a chance to explore a posture more than you otherwise would.
It really assists a deeper version of the posture, making all those "scary looking" yoga asanas easier particularly on days we don't want to work flat out.
Holding Virabhadrasana for long really isn't too little to deal with as it imbibes a very intensive stance and engages the arms, legs, ankles, back, thighs, glute, abdomen and the chest.
Awareness of the alignments , I feel, at times could be very very tricky. The wheel is an amazing prop if you are looking to keep that alignment intact gracefully for a long hold.
Keep practicing Yoga 🧘♀️ Namaste 🙏
