WHAT IS MATHEMATICS ?
Hello
Now I am going to tell about the answer of WHAT IS MATHEMATICS? First of all math is the language of science . As we know that without any language we can not define anything as easy method, same things goes for science. If we want to describe any particular topic of science then we need a language to describe that particular topic,and that language is mathematics. Let's us understood this through the some examples .
Example 1- Suppose there are two trees, now I just want to define which tree is bigger than other ,than how can I define it if we haven't any mathematical numbers. In this case we will face some difficulty work, to solve this difficulty we need to a new concept which will help us to define above problems. And that concept is mathematics which deals some numbers which are 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 . Now we can easily define the above problem by using this number, we can identify one tree as 1st and another is as 2nd . Now we can easily say that 1st one is taller than 2nd or 2nd is smaller than 1st.
Second definition is , mathematics is a medium which,we help us to understood the activity of nature. We can say that MATH is a concept which is generated from our mind to understanding the nature. Such concept generated from our mind and that concept draw some neceessary conclusion than that concept is mathematics.
Some famous scientists give the definition of maym... Which are as
Benjamin perice (1809 - 1890) : "the science that draw necessary conclusions is mathematics"
Galileo Galilei (1564 - 2642): "the universe can not be read untill we have learnt the language and become familiar with the characteristics in which it is written"
