Yes as most of you replied to the poll, potatoes are healthy. It does have nutritional benefits when consumed in right quantity and form.
They are rich in fiber which bring satiety and improve bowel movements. The type of fiber in potato is resistant starch which acts as prebiotic - reduces constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, improve gut health.
Its rich in Tryptophan which reduces anxiety, stress and calm down the nerves.
It do not have cholesterol and also has antioxidants, vitamin C, B vitamins making a healthy choice for heart.
It is not the food which is bad, the cooking method like deep fried, adding refined flour makes it unhealthy. Potatoes can be baked, steamed, boiled or added to curries along with other vegetables

Nutrition and sleep

Duration and quality of sleep majorly depends on what we eat and when we eat.
For instance, eating high spicy or fatty foods close to bed time is not a wise choice as the digestion will be delayed and indigestion causes disturbed sleep mainly for people with acid reflux.
Dehydration or lack of water intake throughout the day causes muscle cramps and fatigue which also hinders the sleep at night.

Between your main meals like Breakfast, Lunch or dinner incase of cravings or hunger consume a handful of roasted peanuts or mixed nuts or a fruit instead of biscuits or chocolates.
You can also try having a glass of water as dehydration can also trigger cravings.
