It is the time that is awaited the most by students and their parents alike, the time that affirms their faith in hard work, shapes their dreams into reality and motivates them to set higher goals

The New Standard High School, Barwala arranged an educational trip to Agra, Fatehpur Sikri & Mathura Vrindavan for their students who were also accompanied by their teachers. They enjoyed an extensive tour of all these cities with a visit to the world-famous Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Red Fort & Temples of Mathura Vrindavan. All these added a great deal to the students’ knowledge of the historical background and acquainted them better with the rich heritage of India. The visit to the Mathura Vrindavan & Agra was truly rewarding. Students had loads of fun and enjoyed every bit of their tour.
An anti-cracker rally was organised by New Standard High School, Barwala , to sensitise the residents, commuters and the children about the darker side of this illuminative object called crackers and have a safe and pollution-free Diwali.
The celebration of , the festival of lights, came alive at New Standard High School, Barwala, Panchkula, when the whole school wore a festive look with pots, diyas and lanterns adorning the Classrooms, reception and corridors of the school. The rangoli on the theme of eco-friendly Diwali by the students added the perfect setting to the festivity.

In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, a celebration was organized in New Standard High School, Barwala for Children. All the children came in traditional dresses. Some boys came dressed as ‘Krishna’ and some girls came dressed as ‘Radha’.
New Standard High School, Barwala celebrated the nation’s 72nd Independence Day and remembered with gratitude the sacrifice of the freedom fighter. The celebration began in the school premises with the unfurling of the National flag followed by a speech with patriotic zeal and fervour by the Principal Mr. Deep Chand Sharma. The celebration continued with patriotic songs and dance performances by the students. The Principal, Mr.Deep Chand Sharma in his speech urged the students to take the pledge towards a Clean India, Poverty-free India, Corruption-free India, Terrorism-free India, Communalism-free India to commemorate the sovereignty of our nation. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
