Knowledge is attained at the highest level when there is student willingness, teacher desire and parent involvement. Each, parent, student and teacher must allow guidance, inspiration, and a common ground in order to profit from knowledge.

Our education system is still having the features what colonial educators inbuilt. Education is not always about becoming a big, rich person. It should be about humanism.
Students must also be taught in-depth about the morals of life and inculcated with humanistic values. They should be taught that life is much beyond money and success is not measured in money.
If the Indian education system starts taking these points into serious consideration, we can attain the level of the best education system in the world. It is high that we as a country, start taking education above the mediocre level that we have been engrained with and perceive education from the holistic approach.

The country has reached a stage in its economic and technical development when a major effort must be made to derive the maximum benefit from the assets already created and to ensure that the fruits of change reach all sections. Education is the highway to that goal.

While the great leaders of the world are using their power to threaten each other and gloat about who has a bigger “red button”, there are actual problems being ignored. Illiteracy being a major one. Today’s children are tomorrow’s future. With the recent conflicts and refugee crisis, the situation for the above said future, does not look good. A United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (Unicef) report has revealed that at least 59 million young people are being forced into illiteracy as a result of violent conflicts and disasters in disaster-affected countries. The UN agency said nearly three in 10 young people between the ages of 15 and 24 living in conflict or in disaster-affected countries are illiterate. We are basically pushing our young children towards illiteracy and unemployment.

The Government of India is well aware of the problems in the Indian education system, but has been slow in responding to them. School infrastructure is in a poor state and many school teachers are not properly qualified, with 31% of them not having a degree. 40% of schools are without electricity. There are schools where at the time of exams the invigilators ignore the students, giving them full freedom to cheat, and at times the teachers themselves abet the act of cheating. Also, there are instances where the children are asked to sweep the floors, serve meals to the teachers, and children as young as six are beaten with rulers. Consequently, the state of learning is very poor.

Giving is not just about making a donation.
