FidelFolio has opened up a portion of the MAGIC framework to the investor community. Individual
investors, research analysts, and fund managers have been utilizing screening tools (such as
screener.in and tickertape.in) to create stock screens for decades. However, these tools lack the
capability to test the screens/filters they generate. To address this gap, we have introduced India’s
first backtesting tool for fundamental-ratio-based stock screens. This tool enables users to test their
investment strategies across market cycles, democratizing rule-based investment practices. Additionally, it serves as a branding tool for FidelFolio while enriching our information base through
crowd intelligence on investment strategies.
