Swatantra Bharat Party-Karnataka
India became an independent nation in 1947, but never became free. Despite its broadly liberal Const
Nehru's Fabian socialism destroyed India. In the words of LKY.
But Narasimha Rao did NOTHING to liberalise agriculture. And NOTHING to fix the incompetence and corruption in the political system and in India's elite civil services (IAS).
And BJP has continued 95% of the policies started by Nehru. India needs a liberal party else it will go even further behind other nations. Join and support Swatantra Bharat Party.
Anil Ghanwat, the leader of , India's only liberal party, continues to explain - to anyone who will listen - why India needs to liberalise the farm sector.
क्या संसदीय चुनाव से पहले राजनैतिक पार्टियां MSP पर बड़े वादे करेंगी ? | The Conch When the government had announced three farm laws to liberalise agriculture sector in 2020, it was widely hailed as Indian agriculture’s 1991 moment. But wit...
LIBERATE THE FARMER, LIBERATE INDIA!
From 18 minutes on this video, Anil Ghanwat explains for the nth time Swatantra Bharat Party's policy for the government to stop interfering in commodities markets and to let farmers freely trade across the world.

On ABP News 26 Sep 2023 SBP President Anil Ghanwat explained once again:
- Farmers need laws that enable and protect contracts
- India needs vastly more FDI in agro-processing

Under Narendra Modi India refuses to do a PISA test to determine the quality of education its children receive. India backed off in 2022, after having scored the 73rd rank out of 74 countries in 2009.
Why aren't Indian children being provided a BASIC quality of education?
It is unfortunate that BJP has resorted to chicanery and fraud to get rid of socialism from India: https://tribuneindia.com/news/india/socialist-secular-missing-in-copies-of-constitution-given-to-mps-congress-546211
Unfortunately, this won't do. The word socialism has to be removed through a Constitutional amendment. Not just the word, but all socialist policies.

Indian socialism continues to trash the lives of farmers. They are losers at every step. Market reforms are the only way out. What is going on is close to Soviet style collectivisation of agriculture.
https://twitter.com/anil_ghanwat/status/1702851004742713394
This is a highly regressive decision. Instead of taking the country forward, the Karnataka government is taking it even further backward.

We have said this in our draft Discussion Paper:https://swatantra.org.in/Documents/Discussion/DiscussionPaperAgriculture-draft.pdf
The government ban exports when prices are high, and floods the market when prices are low. Because of these bans, no one contracts to buy from India anymore since we are not a reliable trading partner.

Small wins from time to time, with virtually zero resources. But there's NO ONE ELSE in India demanding liberty.
We will continue this fight.
In this interview, SBP President Anil Ghanwat explained (in Marathi) the reasons for SBP's protests against the Modi government's ban on futures trading in agricultural commodities:

The mass-scale destruction of India's Republic over the past seven decades makes its Republic Day celebrations ring hollow.
The government has all the rights now, in India. The people have none. Its original Constitution has been entirely hollowed out.

A video (and next, some photos) from the protests outside SEBI on 23 January 2023.
SEBI promised to take minutes of the 90-minute official meeting Swatantra Bharat Party leaders had with SEBI yesterday. The minutes are awaited. In the meantime a few points to note:
1. There are no speaking orders behind actions of SEBI and of the Govt. of India; no transparency in decision making.
2. While farmers are the producers, they have no (or virtually no) say in decision-making bodies/ committees.
Instead, domestic companies which *hugely profit by keeping commodity prices low* seem to be the main stakeholders of SEBI - and (verbal?) political directives.
3. If SEBI can't perform its function independently and transparently (and competently), and merely acts as a post office for the government, why do we have it in the first place?
Its job is to advance markets, not to crush trade.
4. SEBI failed to explain why it wants farmers to always pay the price to contain inflation. Farmers have suffered for decades from socialist restrictions on trade. SEBI should realise it is merely enriching the wealthy and further impoverishing farmers.
Let there be free trade.
This is the basic argument of theft from India's farmers.
Blockages in trade by socialist governments (e.g. bans on futures trading by SEBI) steal money that rightfully belongs to farmers.
And there are enormous property right restrictions.
All of this impoverishes farmers.
Swatantra Bharat Party and Shetkari Sanghatana protested in Mumbai yesterday against socialist Modi's ban on futures trading. India's farmers lose out whenever international prices rise. Modi is the enemy of the poor.

The SBP President, Sh. Anil Ghanwat has issued the following pamphlet for the 23 January 2023 event at SEBI. He invites all farmers and traders and other supporters to join him at SEBI.
He has also expressed hope that the PM of India will stop the ongoing atrocities against farmers. Please refer to: https://swarnabharat.in/blog/read/open-letter-to-the-prime-minister-on-technology-and-economic-freedom-for-farmers
SBP President Anil Ghanwat participated in a farmer's debate over the past two days in Delhi.
We wish fellow Indians a very happy Independence Day.
And re-affirm our commitment to make India a free nation, something we have not even remotely achieved in these 75 years.
Liberty first!
Channa Prakash has challenged Vandana Shiva to a debate. She has not the slightest shred of scientific evidence on her side, so will not accept. She has conssitently refused to debate with any real scientist. And refuses Q&A session for her talks.
SBP stands for REAL SCIENCE and REAL ECONOMICS. Let's shun charlatans like Vandana Shiva who are harming the poor of India.
Prior to 2020 not a single scientific paper or book recommended lockdowns. WHO's October 2019 guidelines did not have anything remotely resembling lockdowns: https://bit.ly/3yO2No9.
COVID was never even a "moderate" pandemic, so voluntary measures were the only ones admissible.
Vaccine apartheid for children in Bangalore schools:
"unvaccinated lot is sitting at a distance of a minimum of three feet from each other, having lunch inside classrooms and engaging in morning prayer sessions separately".
Schools shield against covid While we are doing our best to ensure every child on our campus is vaccinated, the BBMP should conduct regular drives on school campuses
No, Mr Modi, covid has not been even remotely a once-in-a-century crisis.
Your over-reaction is the definite cause of India's crisis.

Sweden - without lockdowns - should have seen devastation. But it had NO NOTICEABLE pandemic. Without any panic.
Modi panicked & wiped out the lives and livelihoods of millions of Indians for nothing.
SBP has opposed lockdowns from day 1.

Time to stop the perpetual loot of India's farmers. Why should they be forced to subsidise everyone not only in India but now even in neighbouring and developing countries?

Yet ANOTHER grievous attack on India's farmers.
Farmers are forbidden in India from getting the market price for their produce. No wonder they remain desperately poor, and India too remains poor.
India bans wheat exports with immediate effect Only government-to-government deals will be allowed
This chart, which standardises the proportion of global population killed by different pandemics shows that covid is extremely modest in comparison with Spanish flu. BJP and Congress have lied through their teeth and imposed CCP policies.

This diagram depicts the key difference between Swatantra Bharat Party and all other parties of India.
Nearly 75 years of rule by socialist parties has ruined the nation. Only SBP can make India an economic superpower. It is time for change.
Not its geography, not its culture, not its history explains the wealth of a nation.
ONLY whether it has strong property rights that underpin free trade.
https://fee.org/articles/how-estonia-yes-estonia-became-one-of-the-wealthiest-countries-in-eastern-europe/
Ours is the only Indian party of property rights and free trade.
Property rights are an essential instrument for the creation of prosperity. Socialists and fascists have attacked this instrument for 70+ years and blame everyone else for India's continuing poverty.
Ours is the only party committed to the original, Ambedkar property rights.
