A One-Day Faculty Programme
A One-Day Faculty Development Programme was inaugurated at Brtish Olivia School on 3rd June, 2023. A discussion emphasized self-realization through MINDFULNESS. Educators were also told about the importance of self-love, a positive attitude, an inner voice, belongingness, safety and security, high self-esteem, and self-actualization.It was taken further with the discussion of different life skills that fall into three basic categories: Interpersonal, Emotional, and Thinking Skills. Real-life classroom examples were shared to understand how various life skills are essential for students in promoting a positive attitude, quick decision-making, improving communication traits, controlling anger, and increasing self-esteem and confidence.With a note of appreciation Chairman Mr. Vijay Maini, Director Mrs. Monika Maini and Principal Mrs. Monika Sehgal emphasized the importance of life skills to be developed in student’s life to prepare them as real warriors and face the challenges of life with a dare.It was well planned and engaging session.

A Medical Camp for kids along with A Session on Diet and Nutrition and Female Hygiene for girls in grades 6th to 12th was organized by Dr. B. S Johal, Johal Hospital Jalandhar at British Olivia School, Jalandhar with the sacred aim of bringing awareness amongst students regarding basic health care. Specific requirements for each student were recorded. A very satisfactory and explanatory talk was given by a team of doctors. The students displayed great interest and asked many questions related to their well-being. It was truly a mesmerizing experience for all.

The Investiture Ceremony, marking the formation of a new ‘Student Cabinet’ for the academic session 2023 -24 was solemnized at British Olivia School, Jalandhar with great pomp and dignity. A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the grand ceremony commenced with the Lord’s Prayer and a mellifluous prayer song rendered by the school choir.
The Investiture Ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, they also pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.
Chairman Mr. Vijay Maini, Director Mrs.Monika Maini and Principal Mrs. Monika Sehgal accorded and conferred the badges and scarves to the students' council, enabling young shoulders to wield responsibility. They designated the School Martinet Team. The magnificent spectacle of the praiseworthy young leaders on the stage, with their scarves and badges, taking the oath of responsibility was truly graceful and enthralling.

Mother’s Day is special, for all children and mothers, it celebrates the bond of love and affection that is interminable and inexplicable.
Mother’s Day was celebrated at British Olivia School, Jalandhar on May 12, 2023, with much fervor and joy. A host of activities were planned to honor and appreciate all mothers. The venue was aptly decorated in keeping with the theme. Mother’s Day messages and photographs all adorned the venue. Heart-warming feelings filled the air with intimacy, appreciation, and acknowledgment.
The audience was entertained by myriad presentations symbolic of various hues of life and joy.
Chairman Mr Vijay Maini, Director Mrs. Monika Maini, Principal Mrs. Monika Sehgal and Cordinator Mrs Inderjit Gidda in their enlightened address emphasized the significant quintessential role of the mother in one’s life. They wished good health and happiness for all. They urged the students to be self-effacing, compassionate and realize the painstaking efforts taken by their mothers.

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness’’
British Olivia School, Jalandhar recently celebrated Cleanliness Week in Kindergarten. Various maneuvers like, how to keep ourselves and our school clean. The whole week was to showcase the significance of the cleanliness of our body, home, surroundings, etc.
Chairman, Sir, Mr. Vijay Maini, Director, Mrs.Monika Maini, Principal, Mrs.Monika Sehgal, and Co-ordinator Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Gidda sensitized the students about the importance of a clean environment. They also aware students to keep dirtiness away as it has terrible effects on our health.
Students were judged based on uniform, maintenance of bags, books and notebooks, nails, haircut, the Dastaar of Sikh boys, polished shoes, punctuality, etc.
Medals are given to the winners of Cleanliness Week.
Academic Achievers
, Jalandhar marked its Academic Achievers Award Ceremony on 2nd May 2023 by recognizing the achievements of its students in the last academic year, 2022-23 The student achievers in academics were suitably rewarded and acknowledged for their exemplary performance in the previous session.

Labour Day Celebration
To celebrate the painstaking effort of the labor force, that works tirelessly, was celebrated at the British OliviaSchool, Jalandhar on 1st May 2023 with full aplomb. The students were involved in a rally, to show their gratitude towards the helping hands for their selfless service and priceless contributions to the smooth functioning of the Institute and for them to acknowledge their hard work. The elements of energy and momentum could be witnessed in the children.

*Baisakhi Celebration*
Baisakhi was celebrated at the British Olivia School, Jalandhar with great fervor and zeal. A Vibrant Ramp Walk was organized at the school for pre-nursery to KG students. The students were dressed in colorful Punjabi traditional attire.
Director Mrs. Monika Maini gave the titles of both Mr. Punjab and Miss Punjaban to the students. The school was dolled up and festooned with the theme of Baisakhi
To commemorate Baisakhi Festival, A Special Assembly was organized at British Olivia School, Jalandhar on April 13, 2023. The celebration began with a prayer. Students were passionately involved, dressed up in traditional attire, and presented 'Shabad Gayan' and Bhangra. They were familiarised with the customs and rituals of Punjab. They even got the opportunity to showcase their talent through Tuban and Paranda Tying Activities. An ecstatic ovation by the audience energized the performers.
Chairman Mr. Vijay Maini and Director Mrs. Monika Maini blessed the students on this auspicious occasion and appreciated them for their laudable performance. They apprised the students to act responsibly and exhorted them to make the best use of their time to have a splendid future.
GRADUATION CEREMONY

ORIENTATION SESSION
An Orientation Session was organized at , Jalandhar for the students of Grade Pre-Nursery to 1st.
The commencement of the event was marked by a cordial welcome. The students along with their parents were familiarised with the teaching pedagogy, assessment, and pattern of learning various skills Our consultative group of teachers briefed the students to develop a holistic integrated vision, build knowledge and skills and make them future-ready.
