And the wait is finally over! We are thrilled to announce that CHOWRAASTA BUSKING will be released on the 21st of July!

This is the first step in our humble quest to share our music with the pure-hearted people of rural Telangana. Experience the magic, the energy, and the joy that we encountered during our musical journey amidst the loving people and breathtaking nature of rural Telangana.

Kickstarting our journey from Lambadipally village in Karimnagar District, we traveled across Jagityala, Mancheryala, and ended our busking at Asifabad in Adilabad District. 🚐🎵 Along the way, we were overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm of the eager crowds who joined us. We are proud and blessed to have had the opportunity to witness the incredible talent of the local artists who performed and sang with us.

మన తెలంగాణ లోని పల్లె పల్లెలో మా చౌరస్తా సంగీతం కల్మషం లేని మనసున్న పల్లె జనాలకి వినిపించాలి అనే మా చిన్న ప్రయతనానికి మొదటి అడుగు. మన కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా లంబాడి పల్లెతో మొదలై జగిత్యాల మంచిర్యాల ఆసిఫాబాద్ అదిలాబాద్ జిల్లాలోని కొన్ని అందమైన పల్లెటూళ్ళలో మా సంగీతం వారికి వినిపించి అక్కడి కళాకారులతో కలిసి వాయించి, వారి సంగీతం విని సంతోషించాము అని చెప్పుకోవడం లో గర్విస్తున్నాము.

ఆ స్వచమైన మనుషుల మధ్యలో, ఆ అందమైన ప్రకృతిలో, మేము పొందిన అనుభూతి, మీతో పంచుకుందామని సిద్ధం ఐయ్యాము.

MEET THE BAND! 🎶

Balaji Viswanathan: Vocalist

Bringing poise and balance to the performances, his calm demeanor evokes a sense of comfort and familiarity in the audience. Bala is particularly adept at selecting songs that take listeners down blissful nostalgia lanes, and his performances are often accompanied by engaging stories that keep everyone hooked. A shrewd thinker and a meticulous planner, he often lightens the mood with his witty remarks and puns in multiple languages.

Favourites : Kishore Kumar, Sonu Nigam, Amit Trivedi.

Yashwanth Nag - Vocalist, Arranger, Composer, and Keyboardist.

Soulful, delightful, and mesmerizing wholesome performer. With multiple compositions that include collaborations with various musicians under his belt, he is seldom found without an instrument, with his ukulele being his most preferred companion. When not busy with music, Yashwanth is making plans to become an astronaut, director, teacher, scientist, pilot, and anything else that catches his fancy. Despite his claim that he's always failing when trying to do something new every time, Yashwanth being Yashwanth, we won’t be surprised if he makes all of the above possible.

Manuj Natraj - Guitarist

He decorates performances with tasteful phrases and gripping solos. He likes to goof around with the horn, playing bugle calls. When not on stage, you can find him teaching guitar to young and old aspirants, or talking at length about Astro Physics with clarity that will blow one’s mind away.

Favourites : Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles.

Anantha Krishnan : Bassist

The one with the longest hair in the band, he puts this abundance of hair to good effect, losing himself in the groove while delivering energetic performances. He leads a 'BASS'ic lifestyle that is centered around music, books, and poetic writing. Ananth enjoys philosophical discussions, more so if they are had under the supervision of Old Monk.

Akshay Athreya : Drummer and Percussionist

The show stealer more often than not, this wiry lad was born to drum. Ever ready to lay his hands and bare his soul to percussion, he is also a technical geek who spends time honing his skills in recording and music production. When not on stage, he is out taking selfies with girls, riding bikes, or on Instagram.

CHOWRAASTA BUSKING

This is the first step in our humble quest to share our music with the pure-hearted people of rural Telangana.
