We proudly present to you,
"AERO-SOLVE".
Aero-Solve is a novel patented device which is meticulously crafted to minimize disease transmission among dental health care personnel and patients by containing and evacuating the aerosols from within the oral cavity.
In the wake of current COVID 19 pandemic, WHO has declared dentists to be at a very high exposure risk.
Nearly all dental instruments used in common dental treatments generate aerosols: low and high speed turbines, sonic and ultrasonic devices, air water syringe and air polishing devices.
Not only is someone at risk of inhaling these infections particles, but also that these particles remain suspended in the air, settle on surfaces and are often re-aspirated.
Although Personal Protective Equipment is used for providing emergency dental care,these aids help in restricting the transfer of infectious aerosols from patients to dentists, they however do not stop the spread of aerosols to the atmosphere around the patient.
These findings implore a need to re-examine our current infection protocols in dental settings in order to contain the extent of aerosol transmission.
At the global level, estimates show that 3.5 billion are affected by oral disease.
Untreated dental caries in permanent teeth is the most prevalent disease in human beings.
In a a survey, WHO state that 75 percent of dental services had been completely or partially disrupted during the pandemic.
To end this brutal suffering and to gain freedom from aerosols, we have designed the 'Aero-Solve'.
