Rajasthan's essence is unique. Remembering these pictures from the college field visits in 2015 to the remarkable cities of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, and Bikaner, where I delved into the local crafts and culture.

Reflecting on those journeys, I find them among the most rewarding experiences of my life. They were carefree days, filled with moments to savor and no rush to be anywhere else. Engaging with the artisans, I immersed myself in their world, a world brimming with vitality.

Running a small business is not easy. It takes passion, dedication, creativity, and resilience to keep going despite the challenges and uncertainties. I know this very well for the past six years.
I started my business with a dream: to share my love of textile-jewelry with the world, and to support the talented artisans who work with me.
But my journey has not been smooth. I have faced many difficulties along the way. There were days when I felt discouraged, overwhelmed, and exhausted. There were times when I wondered if I could continue.
But every morning, I would wake up with a new hope. I would remind myself of why I started Akihi in the first place: to express my creativity, to make people happy, and to make a difference in the world.
