Cow welfare:
Since they are regarded like a mother figure which provide us with dairy product for nourishment, cows should be treated with respect. Govardhan has built a cow shelter which currently is home to 5 other cows. Our mission aims to provide a safe place for stray cows to stay. We have another cow shelter

Denver Urban Gardens - Vermicomposting Basics

This week's project at Govardhan is primarily aimed to make our very own vermicompost. Our interns from California have collected red worms (Eisenia foetida) from Navdanya and have started collecting appropriate materials to create a vermicompost to fertilize our gardens.
