The past two years has been very challenging for the medical fertinity across the world, reason as we all know very well is the pandemic covid -19. the two words ,Covid and Vaccine/vaccinations were the top challenge and point of discussion not even at the top medical centers but at the level of the common people, where these two topics were not only being discussed at every top research and medical centers nationally/internationally but also was a matter of concern in every city/village/house

In today’s time when we somehow had a control over the Covid Pandemic with the help of good no of vaccines options available in our Doctors hand for the adults or for some of the age groups, still there is a age group of younger one/children to whom the vaccines has not been recommended yet, may be soon they will be available for all of the age groups as the trials are going on.

Till the time we get the vaccines available for all of the groups there is a situations of the dilemma amongst all the parents

About Dr Anuj Rastogi sir

Dr. Anuj Rastogi, who did his undergraduate studies from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, and post-graduation in Pediatrics, completed his medical schooling in 1993. Holding an exhaustive experience, he presently heads the Department of Pediatrics and Neonatology at Jaswant Rai Speciality Hospital, Opposite Sports’ Stadium, Meerut, besides running this state-of-the-art private set-up for children which is one of the first of the ‘under one roof’ kind in Uttar Pradesh, India - dealing with all aspects of growth, development, diet, and nutrition. He began the first Level III Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Western UP in 1995, and performing mechanical ventilation in infants and children since then. He pioneered Pediatric Bronchoscopy in Western U.P, India., having performed around 5000 bronchoscopies until date. He has authored and co-authored a number of articles for journals and leading newspapers of India.

(Postpartum hemorrhage)

Postpartum hemorrhage (also called PPH) is when a woman has heavy bleeding after giving birth. It’s a serious but rare condition. It usually happens within 1 day of giving birth, but it can happen up to 12 weeks after having a baby. About 1 to 5 in 100 women who have a baby (1 to 5 percent) have PPH.

It’s normal to lose some blood after giving birth. Women usually lose about half a quart (500 milliliters) during vaginal birth or about 1 quart (1,000 milliliters) after a cesarean birth (also called c-section). A c-section is surgery in which your baby is born through a cut that your doctor makes in your belly and uterus (womb). With PPH, you can lose much more blood, which is what makes it a dangerous condition. PPH can cause a severe drop in blood pressure

If not treated quickly, this can lead to shock and death. Shock is when your body organs don’t get enough blood flow
