The Asian Programming contest is a coding competition across nations being organised by The ACM Chapter, IIT Delhi. Year 2012, the ACM IITD chapter organizes the Indo-Pak Coding Competition in association with NUCES ACM Chapter(Pakistan). The event turned out to be a stupendous success with huge participation. With the motivation and confidence of handling an event of this magnitude the chapter th
en decides to stretch its domains to the SAARC countries in 2013 and the results were even better. Carrying this legacy forward this time we have taken the event to the Asian context. Tentatively scheduled on the 29th of March from 12 PM to 5 PM, Asian Programming Contest (A.P.C.), the on site coding competition is aimed at bringing out the best programmers and fostering brotherhood among the participating countries. The event promises to be bigger and tougher than its previous two editions with several asian countries in the fray. This competition reinforces our earlier established motive of celebration of our “asian-ness”. As earlier stated even Americans and Europeans acknowledge the technical prowess of that “asian guy in the office”, and now it’s time to find out where the best minds really are! So, gear up and put on your thinking hats for winning and bagging some of the best cash prizes that are at stake.
