Some from the venue.. I think I should do this more often 😁 I usually don’t have the time to take pictures at the venue as we’re usually doing 2-3 events a day during the season.

But had 2 events the same day so I captured some candids at the venue 😍

on her wedding day.. this was from the Pelli ceremony we literally had 15 min to get her changed in the saree, change hairstyle to poolajada and touch up her makeup. As it was airbrush base looked fresh till midnight so I only changed the lipstick tbh.

I gave her a dewy finish instead of glass skin because I wanted makeup to look fresh all day throughout all ceremonies.

Traditional Telugu weddings are long and stressful so my team is on toes to msure bride is relaxed and everything happens on given timelines.

For I wanted to keep it minimal, I have used skin tint for that dewey base. As she already has flawless skin I didn’t want to over do anything. I have used some concealer only where it was necessary.

If you are in this space to learn, note that you need not do everything on your clients face just because you were taught to do so, only so what’s absolutely necessary 💯

My attention was mostly on the eyebrows and lips as you can see the whole look turned out to be effortless and she looks stunning 🤩

Pritika Kapoor, Founder and Creative Head at Shears & Brushes, switched her career from Data Analysis to Hair Styling & Makeup Artistry. She is a Loreal certified hair stylist and a MUD certified Makeup Artist. She chose her passion over a well-paid desk job because of the massive response she has received from the welcoming crowd. She has traveled across the country to learn different cultures to refine her work as an artist. She is known to create a look that you want and give the best of what you need using her expertise.

As a hairstylist, she has worked under the supervision of Mirrors Salon & Academy, which is recognized for its quality of work. She has an experience of 4 years and is a highly recommended freelance hairstylist. She discovered her hidden talent as a makeup artist at a very early stage of her career and groomed herself as a professional MUA before stepping into the market. She has been loved by her clients for the finesse in her work and patience with which she sketches a look that they have dreamt of. She has been trained by MUD academy in Bridal Makeup, which is an internationally recognized makeup school.
